In your son's favor

"Why is it raining so bad?" Layla complained looking at the weather outside from the window.

Lucius's arm hung on her one shoulder while on the other he rested his chin. "It's the month of rain, Wife. Milan isn't far from here, so don't be so worried," Lucius stated. "So, are we ready to go?" he asked.

"Yes. Let's go!" Layla said with enthusiasm and hooked her arm with his. As they made their way to the car, Layla asked, "Did you talk to Roger? Do you think he's doing well?"

"Roger needs time. I think I shouldn't disturb him for a while. Rest, Aiden is here so he will take care of everything. Now, Sylvia has gone to her own house, so the situation is better here," Lucius stated.

At the car, Lucius reached for the umbrella a bodyguard handed him, shielding them both from the rain. He escorted her to the vehicle, opening the backseat door and letting her step in first.
