Do you still like me?

"Miss, please don't create a scene here. You too, Sir," a staff member intervened, stepping between Sylvia and Josh. "If you have personal matters to discuss, please take them outside."

Sylvia clenched her jaw. She had no desire to prolong this argument in public, but she needed a way to rid herself of Josh. Just as she turned to leave, her gaze landed on Roger, sitting quietly in the farthest corner of the café, seemingly lost in his own world.

An idea sparked in her mind. She knew Roger had warned her to stay away from him, but at this moment, she didn't care. He was the perfect distraction, the perfect shield against Josh's persistence.

Straightening her posture, she strode toward Roger. Without hesitation, she stopped beside his table and said, "Roger, can we talk?", breaking his serene moment.

Roger lazily lifted his head as he looked at her. Then, with a slight tilt of his head, he replied coolly, "Sorry, but I don't recognize you."
