Sending Meliana out

After Ghod visited with the seer, he couldn't see Acantha.

Of course, he was up from one political meeting to another. Even though he barely had time to himself, he couldn't help but miss Acantha amid his heavy schedule.

Somewhere along the line, from his instincts, he could tell that Acantha was hiding something from him.

He couldn't tell what or how he knew, but he had this gut feeling that there was something Acantha wasn't saying.

After the day's work,Ghod headed towards the east side of his mansion, where Meliana stayed.

He had noticed a particular rift brewing between Meliana and Acantha. He knew how toxic Meliana could get.

Knowing that Acantha had little to zero tolerance for that, Ghod decided to find another suitable place for Meliana. That way, he would be able to maintain peace in his household.

When he got to Meliana's room, he waited outside for a few seconds before knocking at the door.

"Who's there?" Meliana asked.

"I'm the one," Ghod said.

After recognizing that it was Ghod at the door, Meliana got excited and immediately finished up with her makeup.

"Hold on, just a minute", Meliana's voice echoed from within.

After a few seconds, the door flung open, revealing a partially dressed Meliana. She wore a see-through dress, showing her curves and delicate regions.

"May I come in Ghod asked with the motion of his hands. "Yes, you may, I'm sorry.", Meliana said, allowing Ghod to get in.

"So, what can I offer you?" Meliana asked just as Ghod settled into one of the seats in the room.

"Nothing, just sit down, we need to talk," Ghod said.

Meliana was uncertain about the visit of Ghod , she was partially convinced he came to visit according to her agreement with the seer.

She walked over to where Ghod sat and began to caress his face down to his beard before Ghod held her hands off his face.

"Don't you dare touch me; I didn't come here for this; as I said, we need to talk; I came for something serious. So, sit down," Ghod said.

"What could be more important than me?"Meliana asked, smacking her lips while taking her seat.

"An apartment of yours," Ghod said

Meliana quickly withdrew in shock at what Ghod had just said "An apartment? What do you mean? We have already talked this over."

"Yes, I know, but I don't want you here anymore. I found a place well-furnished to your taste," Ghod said.

Meliana quickly stomped her right foot on the ground, then stood up while she began to pace around the room. "I'm not going to buy that; that's an expensive joke. You can't throw me out and expect me to survive alone; no, you can't. I can't stay there; I'll return before you know it." Meliana said

"Don't be silly, woman. The apartment is well furnished with all you'll need. Monthly supplies will be made to you as well. You'll have guards and maids to your service. This is my decision; it is final, and you better not disobey," Ghod said with a tone of authority.

Meliana noticed that Drakon was being serious, she felt hurt by the fact that the seer had betrayed her. The seer had done everything she had asked him not to.

"Please, you can't do this to me", Meliana pleaded while holding on to Ghod .

"Did I chase you off? It would help if you were happy that I found somewhere you can stay. Isn't that delightful enough? What more could you want?" Ghod asked.

Without considering what Ghod had asked, Meliana quickly blurted out, " I want you back; I want us to be together again. You don't deserve to be with that Acantha girl; come back with me. I'll fix all my errors, and we can be happy like old times."

"Why are you still hanging on to that hope? We are over, and we are never going to be a couple. You've tilled the end of the day to move to the apartment or consider it gone, and then you won't be welcomed here." Ghod said before standing to his feet.

Meliana held his arm, but Ghod quickly brushed it off and left the room.

Meliana, enraged at the turn of things, quickly left her room for Acantha's. She wasn't going to let Acantha continue putting her off from Ghod.

When she got to the room, she quickly pushed the door open, taking Acantha by surprise.

"Have you completely lost your mind?" Acantha asked, feigning annoyance.

"I should be the one asking that. Like, for real, what makes you think you stand a chance with Ghod ? He will abandon you as soon as he gets the chance." Meliana said.

"So, all this crazy act is because of Ghod? You truly have no shame as a woman; your case is sad."

"Say all you want, say all you can. But I'm here to tell you that you'll never get to be with Ghod . I assure you; he is mine, and I'm his rightful queen. Not you, who has no wolf; what a shame that you were born. I keep wondering what he found in you," Meliana said.

"The same thing he couldn't find you; that's what he found in me. I'm the real queen; the sooner you know it, the better for you," Acantha said.

"What did you just say?" Meliana said, her hand held into a tight fist, her furrows deepening.

"I said what I said," Acantha said. Before she was done speaking, Meliana smacked her across the cheeks.

"What was that for? Why will you do that?" Acantha said while holding onto her burning cheeks

"That's to teach you never to cross boundaries", Meliana said while giving Acantha a heavy kick on the belly.

Almost immediately, blood started gushing out from Acantha's undergarment, staining her clothes and the entire floor.

Meliana stood transfixed at what was happening; she had no idea Acantha was already with a child. Filled with regret, she dashed out of the room, leaving Acantha helpless.
