1.5 Sneaking around past curfew.

It was night time right now, and all the students were asleep.

Jessica was sleeping soundly in her room, until her phone's ringing woke her up.

Jessica yawned and woke up, rubbing her eyes a bit before answering the call.

The caller was Elma, let's see what scheme she's up to now.

"Hello…" Jessica said, her voice a little croaky.

Jessica hit the record button on her phone, to record their call. Just in case Elma had some ideas.

"Jessica, please can you come outside quick. It's an emergency" Elma said with panic in her voice.

"Elma, we're not allowed to leave our rooms. Its past curfew" Jessica said and went to take some water from her fridge.

"I know, I know. Just come please" said Elma.

"Calm down Elma, why do you even want me to come anyways" said Jessica.

"Well…" Elma said and paused.

"Tyler's leg got broken, a…and I have no one to help me. And he's too heavy, for me to carry around. Please hurry, we're in the hall where the principal's office is" said Elma.

"Okay I'm on my way" said Jessica.

"Thank you" said Elma.

Jessica cut the call and sighed.

"It's definitely a set-up, only idiots wouldn't see anything wrong with what she said" Jessica said and Ash appeared.

"Sadly, more than 60% of the protagonists we have nowadays are idiots" Ash said.

"Hmm…but I'm still gonna go, because well…we are helping Roxanne get revenge. And what better way than to have some good o'l face-clapping" said Jessica.

"Slapping…" Ash corrected.

"Nerd, anyways we're gonna give her a good face-slapping" said Jessica.

"Nice. What do you have in mind?" Ash asked.

"I recorded the call I and Elma had, so you just have to watch and enjoy the show" Jessica said and walked out of the room.

Ash followed after her, not wanting to miss what happens next.

Jessica walked for a while, until she finally reached the hall where the principal's office was.

"Hello, anyone…Elma, I got your message. I'm here" Jessica called out.

"There she is Principal Susan" Elma yelled from across the hall with the principal beside her.

"Miss Oliver, do you have any idea what time it is" Principal Susan said angrily.

Her voice, being naturally loud. Caught the attention of some of the students.

Slowly some of them came out of their rooms to witness what was going on, including Julian.

Elma's friends also came, along with Tyler. And all went to her side.

"Sir I can explain, Elma told me…" Jessica was cut off by Principal Susan before she could continue speaking.

"Elma? You've got some nerve to bring your sister into this, she was in her room throughout the night. Isn't that right Elma…?" Principal Susan said and faced Elma. 

"It's true Principal Susan. I was asleep when she called, and told me she was gonna sneak out to a party" Elma said.

"What? That never happened" Jessica said.

"I told her that it was past curfew, but she threatened me not to say anything. She said that if I told anyone about her going out. She would…h…hurt me" Elma said went to hug Tyler.

She began to cry, and everyone looked glared at Roxanne.

"Principal Susan, can I get the chance to explain myself" said Jessica.

Principal Susan hesitated a bit before she agreed, "You may".

"Thank you, Ma'am" Jessica said and took her phone out.

She played the recording she saved on her phone, and everyone was shocked.

"As you all heard from the recording, the only reason I'm here. Is because Elma told me to come here to help her save Tyler, who had a 'broken' leg" Jessica said.

"Elma is this true" Principal Susan asked Elma.

"U…um, y...yes Ma'am" said Elma.

Everyone groaned and went back to their rooms, turns out it was a false alarm.

Only Elma and Tyler stayed back.

"Meet me in my office, both of you" Principal Susan said to Elma and Tyler.

The two groaned but went to her office nonetheless.

Jessica kept her face neutral and walked back to her room, and once she was there.

She let loose, and did a victory dance. Which Ash could describe as her arms and legs going like…?

Up. Down. Up.

Side. Back. Side again.

Left. Right. Left.

Sloppy pirouette. Sloppy pirouette. 

And a split in the end.

"Damn, Even Michael Jackson would give up on teaching you how to dance properly" said Ash, and immediately dodged the Pillow Jessica threw at him.

"Whatever" Jessica said and yawned.

"What's the status of the Revenge meter" said Jessica as she got on the bed.

"Alright. The Revenge meter is at 60%, and the Relationship meter is at…10%" said Ash.

"What?!" Jessica exclaimed.

"Yeah, seems like the encounter you had with Julian, has turned into a…Relationship" Ash said and floated around her.

"Huh…we just talked and ate a few snacks, noting more" Jessica defended.

"I smell love in the air" Ash said and turned into a heart shape.

"Buzz off" Jessica said and threw pillows at him, but Ash dodged all of them quickly.

"Jessica and Julian sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage. Then a baby in a…ah" Ash exclaimed when a pillow landed on his face.

"Ha…got you" Jessica said and laughed in victory.

"Whatever, the fact still remains that you and Julian are…" Ash said and floated to Jessica.

"...In love" Ash teased.

"Oh put a sock in it" Jessica said and lied down.

"Jessica and Julian, Jelian! No…no, that's not it, Jussica! Or maybe Julica, Julica sounds great. We're going with Julica" said Ash.

Jessica groaned and turned off her lamp.

"I can picture it now, the wedding bells. The beautiful scenery, then suddenly. Jessica trips on her dress and falls straight to the ground, then Julian saves the day and…" Ash fantasized but was cut off.

 "SHUT UP!" Jessica yelled at him.

"Fine" Ash said.

Then Jessica drifted to sleep.

"But seriously, Jussica has a nice ring to it" Ash said.

"Ash…" Jessica said with frustration in her tone.

"Sorry I'll sleep now" Ash said

"Thank you" Jessica said and slept.

"If we're being honest, Julica sounds better, well…from my point of view" Ash said and continued his yapping.

Jessica just used a pillow to cover her ears, groaning.
