1.6 Is the relationship meter, actually...right?

Classes had started, and all the students rushed to get their uniforms ready for school.

Jessica got up early and slipped on her uniform, only to take it off and iron it…2 TIMES.

"That's it, when we're done with this world. You're going through therapy, I know a good system. I'll get in touch with her now" Ash said.

"I just need to iron this wrinkle on the collar" said Jessica as she squinted her eyes to iron out a wrinkle on her blazer.

"That wrinkle is barely noticeable, you need help" Ash said.

"People are gonna notice, it's a wrinkle" Jasmine said.

"Who's gonna walk up to you and be like, 'hey Jessica, there's a wrinkle on your collar', like bro what. No one is going to do that" said Ash.

"Aaaand…it's gone, phew" Jessica said and put her blazer on.

"Thank Jesus" Ash said.

"Look at that, I still have 3 hours before class" said Jessica.

"That's because you woke up at 4:00, in the FREAKING morning" Ash said.

"Whatever, I need to pack up the books I have for today. Let me see what's on my schedule" Jessica said and looked at a piece of paper that contained her schedule.

"Ok, today I have Biology, Physics, Home Ec., PE, and Math, Chemistry, Technical drawing and Club meeting. Alright let me get my text books and notebooks" Jessica said and put the required textbooks, and her PE clothes in her bag and walked out of her room.

She left her boarding house, and went to her class for the first period.

Jessica arrived at her first class at 6:50 just 9 minutes before class started, very early.

'As if that's a shock' Ash said and eye rolled.

'Buzz. Off' Jessica said and entered the classroom.

When she was in her original world, in school. She always liked coming to class as early as possible, so she could study ahead of the lesson and rest a bit.

But she didn't expect, that someone would be in class.

"Hey Roxanne" Julian waved at her.

'In class, at THIS hour, you two are perfect for each other' Ash said.

Ignoring the cranky system in her thoughts, Jessica went to go sit next to Julian.

"I didn't know you liked coming to class so early" said Jessica.

"Yeah, I like to rest a bit before class" said Julian.

Ash appeared in his cloud form and went behind Julian.

Using his cloud puffs, he spelt 'PERFECT FOR YOU' over Julian's head.

Jessica's eye twitched, but used a chuckle to brush it off.

"Oh…Julian, you've got something in your hair" Jessica said.

"Really" Julian said and tried to wipe 'it' off his hair.

"Did I…did I get it?" Julian asked.

"No, let me help you get it out. Close your eyes" Jessica said and stretched her hand over to his head.

"What…why?" Julian asked.

"Just do it, so that uh…it doesn't get it your uh…eyes" Jessica said and smiled.

"But I still don't get why I have to…" Julian said.

"JUST DO IT!" Jessica commanded him.

"Okay, okay" Julian said and closed his eyes.

She used her hands to blow away what Ash wrote, and the cloud stuck its tongue out to her.

Being annoyed, she wanted to smack the cloud but ended up tripping on a desk.

Causing her to fall down.

"Roxanne!" Julian exclaimed and caught her just in time.

As Jessica was caught mid-air, she noticed that Julian…had some amazing eyes.

'Really, you almost hurt yourself. And all you can think about. Is eyes?' Ash said.

Jessica just chuckled, like a love-stricken moron.

'Well she is one' Ash quipped.

'Hey' Jessica said.

Realizing that Julian had been holding her that way for almost 15 seconds, Jessica got up properly.

"Sorry" Jessica said dusting herself off and dusted Julian's uniform.

"It's no biggie, you just had an accident, are you alright?" Julian asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks…for your concern" Jessica said and blushed a bit.

Julian smiled, "your welcome, I'll be concerned for you anytime. We're buddies, aren't we" he said and brushed a stubborn strand of hair away from her face.

"Yeah about that, I was thinking that maybe. We can move to being, friends now? If that's okay with you" Jessica said.

"Really, you want us to be friends Roxanne" Julian asked.

"Yes" Jessica said.

"Cool, we can be friends" Julian said.

"Fist bump…" Jessica put her fist out.

Julian smirked and put his fist out too.

"…Fist bump" Julian completes and the two fist-bumped each other. As 'friends'.

The two laughed at the gesture and sat back down to talk. As 'friends'.

'All right we get it. Sheesh' Ash said.

"So what are you having after Biology?" Jessica asked.

"Civic, Home Ec., Fine Art, PE, English, Geography and Club meeting" Julian answered.

"Cool so you're an art student?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I am" Julian answered.

"I like a man who understands art" Jessica said flirtatiously with a hand on her chin.

"What?" Julian said not sure if he heard her right.

"What? N…nothing, 'Like'. Did I say 'Like', of course I didn't. I meant admire, yeah. I 'admire' a guy who understands art" Jessica said and chuckled awkwardly.

"Oh, Thank you, usually people think that guys like me are into Science. But for me personally…" Julian's speech was blurred out by Jessica.

She just watched him, his lips move, his hair bounce anytime he wanted to make a gesture.

His sexy chest, which she could see because he had two buttons undone.

His DREAMY eyes….Ahh.

'CREEP' Ash said.

'Go eat a bucket of live crabs' Jessica quipped.

'No, you eat a bucket of live crabs' Ash quipped back.

'No you do' Ash said.

'No you do' Jessica said back.

"Roxanne…are you listening" Julian asked.

"Yeah, yeah. I am" Jessica said and coughed, "continue".

"Ok, anyway as I was saying…" Julian went back to his topic.

And Jessica went back to her staring, it seems like somehow, he and her had a lot of things in common.

'Well…DUH' Ash said.

Jessica rolled her eyes at her system, luckily she had Julian to wave off his annoying aura.

Turns out, the Relationship meter was right after all.
