"Drakonis."
"Drakonis, wake up."
'I'm still here, huh?' Uravis thought as he heard Seraphina's faint voice, 'I really can't wait to be done with this world,' added and forced his eyes open.
As his eyes opened, he saw Seraphina gazing down at him with worry on her face, "Hey," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Thank goodness, I thought you were going to die," she uttered with a smile. When she realized he collapsed after trying to save her, she was very terrified..for reasons she did not know. But she was glad he was okay.
Suddenly a smirk appeared on his face, his weak and faint eyes slowly becoming brighter, "Aww, why?"
Seraphina bit her lips, her cheeks slowly turning red as she stared at him, then she averted her gaze and crossed her arms under her breasts. "Nothing," she mumbled.
Drakonis smirked and sat up, he turned around and moved closer to her, his face inches away from hers, "It's not nothing, Seraphina."
"Fine, I care about you okay. There I said it," she admitted earning a smile from him. "Wipe that smile off your face."
"It is fun teasing you, but I still have alot of things to do," He said and rose up to he feet, he helped her up as well and raised his gaze to the sky. He spotted his eagle flying in circles above him. It was waiting for him, since he had already given time to pick him up.
'I still feel exhausted,' Uravis thought clenching his fists tight. "I guess I have to be on my way now," he uttered and turned to her.
"The first city you get to, alert me, Torvald as well. Understand?"
"Yes. Now scram," she said, moving her hands like she was trying to swat a fly. When she turned around to mount her horse, his arms suddenly went around her without warning, causing her to almost jump.
"Thank you," he whispered and instantly switched to Nightshade, he vanished without saying anything else. And just as he vanished, the eagle as well was no where to be found, leaving Seraphina with a racing heart and red face. "Arrogant, flirtatious Jerk!"
_______
"I need to get used to the exhaustion from using my energy," Uravis said to himself as he scrolled through the information on the glass slab.
The wind wiped through his hair as the eagle increased its speed, he pushed back the few strands that got in his eyes and mouth, annoyance slowly building up within him. But it did not end.
He frowned and put the glass slab in his pocket, unfortunately out of frustration and the anger bubbling with in, he switched to Arcanis, Drakonis, Nightshade and back to Arcanis. Then he let go of the collar around the eagle to hold his hair to a bun, but the wind and speed of the beast made him loose balance and fall off.
He gazed down at the ground approaching and the eagle had no idea he had fallen off.
He sighed, "Let's see, Arcanis has a little elementary skill, if I can recall," he paused and went back to the time he switched to Arcanis. "Ah yes, Air."
He stretched out his arms to the side, his body straight, slowly the atmosphere around him changed. The wind that hit his face and moved past his ear was now still, his descending slowed down as well.
He was surrounded by a ball of wind, that kept him in the air, inches way from the floor, his body remained suspended in the air. "Alright, Levitation. Nice," he uttered and changed his position, he dropped his hands to the side, his body still being held up by the ball of wind below him and the energy surrounding him, that created a faint yellow aura around him.
'Elven Kingdom,' he thought and he began moving through the sky towards the Elven Kingdom, along the same path he was heading before he fell.
While in the air, he decided to do a little recalling.
'Drakonis...Sword master, Nightshade...Vanishing with smoke, a smoke bomb technique and extremely fast reflexes, Arcanis...controls wind and air, then has a few knowledge on magic, healing as well,' he told himself as he moved, keeping a mental note of the abilities of his Identities.
However his mind suddenly drifted to the other avatars especially the females. He shivered at the thought and reminded himself not to use them, even if he found himself in a desperate situation.
On arriving at the Elven King's palace, he spotted Claire speaking with the same general, he suspected something was going on between them, but decided not to meddle, since it was her life.
And he was certain she would not do the same if it was him and considering how chill she had been with Seraphina despite how he teased her, it made him not to think so much about her speaking to the man.
He redirected the energy around him back into his body and the ball of wind under him vanished. He landed on the roof effortlessly, then he heaved a sigh.
He turned around and headed for the King's chambers. His mind racing with different thoughts, Positive thoughts and negative thoughts that he forced himself not to think about. But it was nearly impossible.
If he would be able to heal the King..or fail.
As he made his way into the King's chambers, his eyes fell on the King who looked less awful. Everything he asked Elyria to do, was perfectly done and even placed in the right positions. "Your Majesty," he announced his presence as he closed the doors behind him.
"Drakonis " Elyria rose to her feet impatiently, she hurried to his side, her expression asking the questions. She noticed he looked different but what mattered most was where the cure for her father was.
"I got the antidote," he answered earning a smile from her, "But I would still have to heal him, so..." he trailed off as heeached into his pocket, he leaned closer to her, "Call me Arcanis and give him this," he pushed the bottle into her hands.
He walked to the head of the bed where the King laid and he smiled, "You will be back to good health, Your Majesty. Trust me, " he assured him and the King nodded weakly.
Elyria poured the contents into the King's mouth, she put a few drops on his forehead. Immediately the King swallowed, the antidote began taking effect instantly, his body began glowing brightly.
She stepped back, leaving the rest to Arcanis. He placed both of his thumbs on the King's forehead where she dropped a little of the antidote.
The glow reduced a little but turned gold, the same aura formed around Arcanis, charging up bit by bit and at the same time, he transferred every charge into the King's body.
However, Arcanis eyes slowly lost its color, his energy was dropping to a drastically low level, but it was the right thing to do, if he wanted to hasten his mission and be done with it.
"Dra...I mean Arcanis, That's enough, he is okay now," Elyria alerted him before he would exhaust all his energy, but it was too late.
As he took his hand off the King, he immediately went for his mask, he pulled it over his face and turned to her. "Don't take it off," he warned and switched back to his regular self.
He dragged himself away from the King's bed and dropped on his knees, Elyria rushed to his front, her worry still there, despite her father being well.
"What's going on?" she asked but before he could say anything, he dropped into her arms, letting the darkness...once again take over.
