I come home in the evening after talking with Frostar for the whole day in the Beginner Area to know more about the two targets I have to apprehend. I get to know their names are Kavin and Mike who are a prominent figure in Havet doing the robbery and murder in the wilderness just for fun.
I was given three months time to complete this mission which gives me time to get used to the armor and the longsword I have received from Frostar which will make the completion of this mission pretty easy for me.
Shona has already informed me that they are D-grade equipment as I predicted, but is also having a tiny amount of a very rare metal 'Argenium' which will repair the damage, if given the time. But, being a D-grade armor and weapon, it is hard for the locals and the wild animals in this region to even cause a dent on them.
During the dinner with my family, I tell them I couldn't hunt any gale rabbits as there were many newly awakened in there and I had to give them space to gain confidence in themselves which made them feel proud of me as I am not bullying or being arrogant towards them, but helping them in a way that they will never know.
I only told them I will be going hunting from now to get some credits as I don't want to be a burden for them which they reluctantly agreed to. After talking with my sister Zaana after dinner, I go to my room to read on my target's to find a way to get my revenge and complete the mission. I want to complete the mission in a way that no one will doubt my power after that.
I get a good rest at night as I didn't spend much time on reading as it is already the details I know and no new information was in the document given to me by Frostar.
I cannot show my new armor or weapon to my parents or Zaana as it will make them worry more about me that they already are which will lead them to think I am going in a wrong path after failing the assessment to gain a good job and better resources.
I wouldn't blame them if they think that way as I will be thinking the same if I were in their shoes as no one will be able to get a D-grade weapon and armor out of nowhere without getting involved in something wrong in Almeya.
To practice with the new equipment, I will have to go out of the town to hunt in the wilderness as it will be the best and the fastest way to get familiarized with them. It will be tricky and can be dangerous if it is for any other low grade armor or weapon, but with these D-grade equipment I can leisurely hunt in the local sectors.
I want to go to the Sector-4 which will have the D-grade wild animals which will give me the experience I need to gain the confidence I need to take on the two hunters I need to apprehend.
Sector-4 is far from the town and will take a few hours to travel by foot. It is already late, so I have decided to stay at home today in a guise to give some assurance to my family that I am not recklessly roaming around the wilderness in the name of hunting.
I didn't do anything for the entire day and only then I realized why people prefer to go to work even after the retirement for a few years before age gets hold of them. Sitting at home alone doing nothing is the hardest thing I have ever done till now.
Even when I was injured, I didn't feel this as my sister was there to care for me and talk to me so I didn't feel the boredom that I am feeling now.
I wish i can go out, either for hunting or just to do some sightseeing, but my mother being as strict as always has locked the door to prevent me from going out.
I can't blame her for this as it may look like an absurd deed, but it also shows how much she cares for me and trying to keep me out of the harms way.
This makes me worried as I am not sure how they will react after realizing that I have been lying to them and working behind them to the point of taking my revenge on the people who hurt me, even though I am doing it for a mission.
After lunch, I look at the map of Sector-4 to decide what I am going to do tomorrow and how I am going to handle things if things get out of hand. I need to make a back-up plan too to make sure I will be fine when I face the animals in there which tend to roam in groups and are harder to have them separated.
I think of a lot of ways to separate one or two from the groups to have an easier time in the hunt, but I am unable to find a perfect way as these animals are territorial which is smaller to have them separated with enough time to hunt them.
After pondering for a while I decide to hunt the stone fist bears which will be roaming in the outer areas of Sector-4 and will mostly be in groups of three or four and will be easy to make them angry as they are more united with their groups than humans can ever be. Hurting one of them will enrage the rest and make them come at me without caring for their protection, ignoring all their instincts of survival.
This will be my trump card for tomorrow to hunt them and gain some familiarity with my new weapon and armor as a preparation to apprehend the two to complete the mission and take my revenge.
