CHAPTER 10

[Cannot be processed]

Tate was stupefied. He thought he was going to get something breathtaking from the system, instead he got this!

The system was definitely laughing at him.

'Oh come on!!!'

Tate slapped his forehead in frustration. If this was a game, he would've find a way to hack it already, it was just so daring! Daring to mock him.

After a few minutes of continuous complaints, Tate finally decided to bring out the orenda bottle.

It was like a mini water bottle, but this was even smaller than a mini water bottle. He studied the content written on the container, but he didn't understand what was written on it, because it was more like a symbolic style of writing.

Tate decided to let that go.

He could tell that the item would be useful in case of emergency, however he wondered if it could be seen by others.

It looked real in his eyes, so others would definitely be able to see it, which would be bad because they might think he was into drugs.

'Drugs are not allowed in the Martial arts world, just like every other sports'

Tate didn't know what to do about this, unless he would be taking the orenda bottle when nobody would be around, which would be difficult when he finally gets into one of the five major leagues in the world.

His eyes moved to the mirror in his room then, and his eyes widened in shock.

In the mirror, he wasn't holding anything, but the orenda bottle was basically in his right hand.

Tate walked closer to the mirror in his wardrobe.

'Are my eyes deceiving me or something? My eyes are probably shutting down, I should get some sleep.'

He reached the mirror and displayed the orenda bottle in front of his eyes, but he still couldn't see it in the mirror.

Tate's cheeks moved then, it meant that nobody would be able to see it except him, which was good. Now, he could use it while in a match and nobody would know.

'Not bad.'

'Not bad at all.'

Tate thought to himself as he walked back to his bed. He sat down and decided to place the orenda bottle back in the storage. Immediately he thought about it, the orenda bottle disappeared and appeared on the first empty space once more.

Tate's eyes were heavy now. Sleep had developed several hands and it was pulling him to lie down on the bed, however Tate wanted to confirm one last thing.

"Orenda."

With that single word, Tate's current orenda energy showed up on the screen.

[Available orenda; 96]

Tate eyebrows moved a little seeing his orenda energy increased, so it wasn't a daily thing like the rest. He was happy to see this, but he wondered how long it would take his orenda to refill completely if he was to exhaust everything.

This was still unknown to Tate, and it would determine how he would progress on his skills, since the system said continuous usage of a skill could improve the skill.

Tate was desperate to find out these things, but for now, he needed to sleep.

He collapsed on his bed, tomorrow would be a long day.

FIVE DAYS LATER

Tate was sweating as he went down to finish the last drill for the day.

"One hundred!"

He sounded as he completed the one hundred push up.

[Daily task has been completed. Host has been rewarded with five martial artists points and can now claim the reward for the day!]

[Host has been rewarded with a random box for completing daily tasks for seven conservative days! Next reward time.

Complete daily task for 14 conservative days]

[Random box contains random gifts and items, from groundbreaking skills to heavenly items!

Would you like to open the random box now?]

Tate was dumbfounded by the system message, more like he was piped up.

With such a groundbreaking sentence, who wouldn't want to open the random box right away.

"Open."

Tate sounded in a commanding tone.

The random box appears to have come out of the super screen and it emitted a white blinding spirit.

In a few seconds the box opened and Tate was greeted with something he didn't quite understand. It was a ticket, something like a lottery ticket.

[Host has been rewarded with ten lottery tickets]

Tate didn't know how to react to this.

He was expecting a groundbreaking item like the system promised, but he got this! A lottery ticket, and the lottery sector was even locked, meaning he wouldn't be able to even use it.

What a waste!

As if the system had read Tate thoughts, another message appeared.

[Lottery has been unlocked.

Host can now trade his lottery tickets for random groundbreaking rewards if lucky enough!]

Tate angrily swiped the message away, even though the lottery sector just opened, he was angry that the system didn't give him a groundbreaking item.

He was praying to get an item not a skill because a groundbreaking skill would definitely be locked, but an item would be free and available.

Damn! The system had to give him ten lottery tickets.

Tate was still angry about this when another system message reflected.

[Loading daily login reward]

[Host has been rewarded with a mini health box.

Item usefulness— Recover +10 health when consumed.]

[Item has automatically be stored inside System storage]

Tate slid the message away without taking another glance at it. The reward wasn't surprising to him. He had been getting orenda bottles and this, for the past five days now.

It seemed the daily login only contained those two items, at least he should be given artist coins like the first day!

Damn, the system totally doesn't want to see him rise to the top so easily.

"Stats!"
