CHAPTER 11

Tate sounded when he was done removing all the messages from the screen.

HOST STATS

Agility(40)

Strength(10)

Stamina (10)

Intelligence(10)

Perspective (10)]

Tate cheeks moved looking at his agility once again.

He had successfully taken his agility to the required standard to unlock rapid punches. Now he would focus on strength and stamina, but he would be improving his strength first. He decided to do it according to the system arrangements.

"Add all five points to strength"

[Five points have been added to strength.]

[Updating Stats. Updated!]

[Strength(15)]

Tate felt a little joy seeing the message, but the thought of no longer having MA points dawned on him.

'I need to find another way to get MA points, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to grow as fast as I want to grow.'

Tate squeezed his fist hard.

'Dammit! I really need to get stronger!'

He decided to check the lottery section. Since it was opened and he had lottery tickets he should just try it out. It wasn't like he could give the lottery ticket back to the system.

Tate entered the lottery section.

[Welcome to the system lottery section where hosts can win groundbreaking rewards provided you get the following winning numbers of the day!]

[One hour Jackpot—50 minutes left.

Six hour Jackpot—5H50M left.

One day Jackpot—23H50M left

Once the time elapses, the winning numbers of the day would be announced, if one of the host tickets contains the number, host would automatically win a random gift that could contain anything.]

[Available lottery ticket; 10

Cost of one lottery ticket; 10 artists coins]

Tate went through the message in a flash, his attention stopped on the cost of a lottery ticket. It wasn't that expensive in his eyes given he had five thousand artists coins, but he wouldn't dared to purchase a lottery ticket.

Until the system stores open, he doesn't plan on using his artist's coins.

Tate decided to click on the one hour jackpot. He wanted to see how the lottery operated, and the hour one jackpot was the closest to seeing what the lottery section would be able to offer him.

"Stake one ticket on the one hour jackpot"

Immediately Tate said those words, a new system message appeared.

[Host has stake one lottery ticket on the one hour Jackpot. Ticket number. 456799.

Winning numbers would be announced one hour later, meanwhile host can stake as many tickets as he wants.

The higher the tickets the greater the chances of winning!]

Tate slid the message away when he was done reading it.

He would've loved to stake more tickets but he wanted to start with one, and his eyes were on the daily jackpot. He believed the daily jackpot would hold more opportunity, but first, he wanted to see how the one hour jackpot works.

Tate's eyes moved to the lottery countdown, it was forty-eight minutes left, that was a lot of time to him, he wouldn't be able to wait to see the outcome, he had places he wanted to be today.

He stood up to his feet, today was the day Sir Connor would be coming to take the house, and his sister as compensation for the money he lost a week ago.

Tate couldn't believe it was one week already, but a lot had changed during those one week. He had awakened this strange power, and he had a definite purpose in mind now.

He wants to become the number one martial artist in the world, not some local fraudster in the street!

Today, Tate plans to put everything to an end.

Tate quickly got dressed and headed to Sir Connor residents which was situated in the most flourished center in the town.

Tate reached the gate of the old fashioned mansion. Some security guards were present in the gate, but they let him in when they saw who he was.

"Sir Connor has been expecting you."

One of the security men said as they escorted Tate inside the mansion.

"If you had come ten minutes late, we would've come to your house to drag you here!"

The man placed his hands on Tate's right shoulder and continued.

"You are lucky you came on time boy, you are really lucky!"

The man said with a smug expression, but Tate shot him a deadly glare that caused his heart to miss a beat.

"Get your hands off me."

Tate words were short but it had unimaginable authority, an authority that caused the man to obey immediately.

He had no idea what he just witnessed but it felt like somebody gripped his heart tight.

Tate and the men arrived at the living room.

Sir Connor was sitting on a throne-like seat at a higher floor. His living room was like a royal palace, lavishly designed with red materials.

There wasn't a single chair available so Tate wondered if it was a living room or a meeting room, whatever the case here, they would be standing.

Only Sir Connor gets to sit.

Sir Connor appeared to be having a meeting with Mr Bushman, Ryker, and some security men. It was obvious to Tate that they were probably having discussions about him.

"He is here, boss!"

The security man from earlier said when he got his composure back.

Sir Connor and everyone's eyes moved to the direction the voice came from. Their eyes immediately landed on Tate.

Ryker's lips formed a half smile seeing Tate.

"Tate, what a surprise you came to visit. I hope you didn't come here to beg Sir Connor. Sir Connor's decision is final, and your pleading wouldn't be able to change it!"

He faced Tate fully with a little smile on his face.

"The real estate business has been flourishing recently, your father's house would go well in the market, but it still wouldn't pay up all the debts you own, especially the money Sir Connor lost that day, so your sister might be included in this equation!"

Tate didn't put his ears to Ryker's words. He simply stepped forward to Sir Connor.

Ryker's expression changed a little when he noticed Tate seemed to have healed up from the bruises they gave him that day, and he seemed to be an entirely different person, temperament wise. However, he believed Tate was faking everything, he definitely came here to beg Sir Connor.

Tate stopped some footsteps away from the higher ground Sir Connor was seated on.

Without a single trail of fear, he looked straight into Sir Connor eyes.

"I am no longer fighting for you! nor am I giving you what my father left behind. My sister wouldn't be part of any equation of any sort!"

Everybody was stupefied by Tate words. Ryker rage skyrocketed. Before he could say anything, Tate continued in a commanding tone.

"You must be wondering why I am here. I will tell you straight away. I came here to offer you a deal!"
