Natsu stood, hands on hips, before the duke's estate.
Duke Everlue's mansion perched on Shirotsume's forested outskirts—trees hemming it in, only the gate road bare.
"Should I dress as a maid and call someone out?"
Lucy glanced at Weiss beside her.
"Nah, just barge in and grab the book."
Weiss shook his head.
Sneak in? Waste of time.
Go full throttle—Everlue'd face kingdom and Council justice soon anyway!
No mess too big to handle!
"Raging Thunder Gale!"
Facing the steel gate and walls, Weiss's eyes sharpened.
He raised his arm—a tiny tornado spun in his palm, crackling with lightning.
With a flick, it roared out!
Boom!
Mid-flight, the wind-thunder twister ballooned into a ten-meter-plus lightning storm!
Winds howled, clouds darkened—terrifying unleashed!
Natsu and Happy gaped.
Lucy's jaw dropped, eyes wide—déjà vu from Hargeon!
In the mansion, three figures watched via a magic orb.
Duke Everlue and his two lackeys froze, sweat beading.

The lightning tornado swept the estate, but Weiss reined it—shredding outer defenses only.

Thinking of his brawler duo, Everlue's confidence crept back.
"Earth Escape Magic!"
After a smug cackle, a golden magic circle glowed behind him.
He sank into the floor like a mole, vanishing from the surveillance room.
Meanwhile, Weiss's crew breached the mansion.
The trio and cat stuck together, strolling through the sprawling estate like tourists.
Oddly, no one blocked them.
Well, not quite.
A giant, three-to-four-meter maid loomed—fat, bloated, gorilla-faced!
Celestial Spirit Virgo—Virgo!
Weiss's lip twitched.
He knew Virgo's current look stemmed from Everlue's warped taste.
Her true form? A knockout beauty, rivaling the guild's best!
"Don't think you'll pass! I'll squash you!"
Virgo, in her "Gorilla" form, burst from the floor, leaping to crush them under her bulk!
Weiss's glare locked on.
A gust coiled around her mid-fall, pinning her hulking frame in the air!
Spinning wildly for dozens of seconds, she crashed down hard.
Virgo hit the ground—out before landing a blow.
"Virgo, I know you hate your current contractor—and this ugly 'Gorilla' form."
"The Celestial Wizard beside me treats spirits kindly."
"You're a stellar, lovely girl."
"If you're up for it, we'll take down that gross fat duke—free you to sign with her."
Weiss stepped toward Virgo, her starry eyes dazed, speaking gently.
He nailed her discontent with Everlue.
Praised her worth—any woman'd glow at that.
Then pitched Lucy—a rare, kind Celestial mage.
"Eh? She's a Celestial Spirit?!"
Weiss's words stunned Lucy, Natsu, and Happy.
This King Kong maid—a spirit?!
No way!
