The visitor

Modern day

New York

Leonard slowly opened the tilted door of his Lamborghini huracan dressed elegantly in his Italian suit. He walked boldly towards the company's main entrance. After being briefly welcomed by the receptionist, he was escorted to his office by his personal assistant and ushered a sit to sit on. He brought a book containing work schedules and tossed it to her to read it out for him which she agreed to. As soon as she was done, she slowly dropped it on the table.

"What did they say about it..." He started without any eye contact.

"Pardon?" She quickly replied as she was stunned by his sudden question.

"On my way here, I saw the news." He said still not looking at her.

"Oh..?" She tried to hide her disgust while trying to figure out where he was driving at.

"They kept saying that cameras caught someone falling from the sky but the Pentagon denies that there was ever anything like that." He said, this time giving her a quick glance before looking away.

"Sir, they're the Pentagon. You can't expect them to dish out unprocessed information." She replied maintaining her timid voice.

"I expected you'd say that." He said and gave a slight pause while Olivia smiled.

"Yes, I'm sure you did." She said.

"There were traces of human landing in the premises." He said and stood up almost immediately.

"Prepare my meeting with the board immediately." He said but this time his tone was more serious.

"Yes sir." She said and bowed as he walked away immediately. She took her phone, dialed a number and a call was placed.

Olivia slowly pushed the door and Leonard walked in majestically and the aura of the meeting room changed instantly as all the board members quickly left their chitchatting and stood up to bow while Leonard gave a short bow and sat down first before the others. The monster of finance stood facing the projected screen and each time he stared at Leonard, his throat would go dry.

After an hour of statistical analysis, Dom ended his lectures and gave Leonard a business stare while Leonard placed his focus on the projected screen. He gave a short smile and stood up while the other share holders stood up in respect.

"Let's call it a day." He said, gave a short bow and walked out of the room almost immediately while his personal assistant followed behind.

"That guy scares me." One of the share holders said holding his chest as he made to sit down. The others joined him while Dom stared on.

"Mr Leo!" Dom said and bowed and all the share holders quickly stood up to bow but when they looked at the door there was no one. Dom slowly walked out through the exit door.

Leonard threw himself on the spinning chair of his office and relaxed back. He took out a cigarette and made to light it but Olivia was quick to take it off his hands.

"You don't smoke during office hours." She said and walked to throw it into the waste bin.

"Miss Dortmund, what's my next schedule?" He asked facing the ceiling while moving left and right slowly.

"You're free sir." She replied quickly.

"What about you?" He said.

"I have to make coffee for you and wait till you're ready to have your afternoon meeting." She said.

"Cancel all other appointments for today. I have to head home early." He said and stood up.

"You have a meeting with Miss wonder from beauty soap advert, don't you think you might make a beautiful enemy at a very young age." She teased calmly.

"Is that your only fear?" He asked and she smiled.

"Cancel all, except hers." He said and walked away while she bowed.

Leonard revved the engine of his Lamborghini as soon as he'd parked in his garage. He slowly stepped out and walked with one hand in his pocket towards the entrance of his house, but he noticed something different; the door's handle was broken. His house had been broken into.

He slowly pushed open the door and walked in. Everything in the house looked the same. Nothing seemed stolen. He slowly walked into his master's bedroom but everything was normal. He walked to the guest room but it was still just as it had been. Same with the other rooms.

He climbed the stairs to check the rooms upstairs. After he'd done a through check only to find nothing, he decided to come downstairs. He brought out his phone and decided to call the cops to report what he'd seen and just as he placed the call, he decided to look down at the sitting room only to find a girl, a lady staring daggers at him. Her hair was multicolored and it was arranged like a rainbow, her iris glowed purple and her face was fair. Her skin was smooth as butter and her shape was perfect but her outfit was tattered and torn. Her lashes and brows were unusually golden.

Leonard could tell his soul just left him but he didn't budge. He'd completely forgotten that he'd placed a call as he was taken aback by the gaze in front of him. He couldn't even feel his body anymore. Her aura was deafening and he could tell that he was paralyzed.

Never in his life did he ever think a woman would put him in a situation whereby he'd be unable to utter a single word. without a doubt, she was the most beautiful girl he'd set his eyes upon. He slowly walked downstairs maintaining eye contact. As soon as he got downstairs, he slowly walked towards her to get a better look and it turned out that his eyes hadn't been deceiving him. He slowly raised his arm to touch her neck but he soon found himself on the ground overpowered by her.

She held his neck pinning him, making sure he was unable to move a muscle.

"You break into my house and now you're trying to sexually harass me? If you're one of my adoring fans, you could have done a better job at meeting me than breaking into my home." He said and rolled his eyes while she slowly released her grip and stood up.

"You've seen me, you may leave." He said as she slowly stood up while she looked down in remorse rubbing her index fingers together. He noticed her behavior and gave a smirk.

"Sorry, I don't allow women into my home." He said and made to touch her arm but she shifted back and took a flawless martial arts pose.

"A fighter?" His cocky voice said and he rolled his eyes before going to sit on the chair.

"You better leave now that it's daytime, there are lots of scallywags here at night and a girl like you cannot escape their sight." He said while nursing his neck, her grip was unusually strong for a woman. She silently walked towards him still holding a remorseful face. He slowly stood up and she raised her head to look at him and his heartbeat increased. She was indeed beautiful. They locked eye contact with his heart beating rapidly each second. They were soon interrupted by police sirens and Leonard soon realized he never actually ended the call.

He walked outside to meet the cops and after a few minutes he walked back inside. She still maintained the same position so he sat down in front of her and she sat down opposite him.

"One day, one day is the highest I can accommodate you." He said and she gave him a smile that melted his heart.
