Leonard slammed the paper in his hand on the table and gave a short sigh as his mind drifted to the girl in his house. As mysterious as she was, a part of him just wanted her around for a while until he deciphers her completely. He relaxed back and moved slowly left and right. He grabbed his Galaxy note and gave a short smile.
His office door slowly opened and a lady in a red exquisite dress walked in. She had a coat made of animal skin around her neck and she wore a big sunglass. She walked briskly towards Leonard who seemed to not notice her.
"You bailed." She said and sat down almost immediately, taking off her sunglass. She dropped her handbag on the table and it made a short but loud noise that got Leonard's attention.
"A situation came up." He said and continued scrolling through his phone.
"A situation that allows you to forfeit a dinner that was arranged by the fan?" She gave a questioning look but he wasn't looking at her.
"Anyways, that's not the issue. I've made a cover story as to why you were absent yesterday." She paused and stared at Leonard expecting a word of appreciation but he seemed less concerned. She scoffed, rolled her eyes and continued.
"Big T hotel shut down last night."
Leonard slowly raised his brows to get a better look at her.
"And.?.." He asked and relaxed his hands.
"They're looking up to me to advertise their company." She said.
"How's that supposed to be of my concern?" He asked giving her a rather irritated look.
"I need funding from you." She said and relaxed back.
"Once the advertisement yields, your shares will be sent to your assistant." She said and gave him a cocky smile.
"Not interested." He said and continued to look at his phone.
Dumbfounded, she slammed the table to get his attention but he didn't stare at her.
Leonard's concern was the lady at his house. Her demeanor was just too high compared to the ladies he'd met so far and she had a big appetite too. She'd eaten all the fries he'd saved for the weekend in just one night.
The rest of the afternoon was spent discussing with Miss Wonder but he'd spent most of the time thinking about her.
The office door slowly opened and Olivia walked in holding multiple files in her hands. She bowed shortly before dropping the files on the desk.
"You're having lunch with Dom for the next one hour." She said as she arranged the files slowly.
"See you around." He stood up and walked outside.

"So there's a mysterious girl at your house and you don't know the best way to send her away?" Dom asked and slowly poured hot tea into the teacups on the mini table between them.
"You could say that." Leonard said.
"If you're here for advice then that means you've run out of ideas to think of." Dom said and gave a mischievous smile while Leonard rolled his eyes and carried a cup.
"If you put it like that, no problem." He said and took a sip and dropped the cup.
"Let's see." Dom said and inhaled putting his thumb and index finger on his jaw rubbing it slowly.
"Have you tried politely asking her to leave?" He asked and gave Leonard a short glance.
"She wouldn't reply me, means she has no other place to crash." He said and relaxed on the sofa.
"Sometimes, it looks like I'm the CEO of this company." Dom teased and chuckled.
"It occurs to me you're getting tired of your job." Leonard teased but with a cold face.
"Sorry sorry!" Dom quickly adjusted.
"Then try to write it on a piece of paper." He suggested and relaxed back to face Leonard who doesn't seem to be listening. Dom noticed and carried a cup and began to sip his tea slowly.
"Thanks for your time." Leonard stood up almost immediately and walked out of Dom's office.
Leonard parked his car and slowly come out. He walked briskly to the door and input the door code before pushing open and walking in. The house seemed quiet so he assumed she'd left on her own accord. He gave a short smile before walking upstairs. He walked past an open room and slowly walked back to check the room. She was there looking at a mirror rubbing her face slowly. She noticed him and slowly turned to face him.
"Thought you left." He said and put his palm in his pocket and tilted his head slightly. She covered a few distance between them and stopped.
"You look hungry." He said.
"Let's head down." He said and headed towards the staircase while she followed behind.
They ate silently for forty minutes and Leonard couldn't help but complement her beauty. He would stare at her at intervals and quickly look away once she stared back.
"Why are you silent? Mute?" He asked but she gave no reaction and just kept eating.
"Where are you from and why did you choose here as your current residence." He asked again but she didn't look at him and kept on eating.
"Got any parents?" He asked and she paused for a while before continuing. Leonard scoffed and stood up. He walked to the bar close to his kitchen and brought out his phone and placed a call.
"You home yet?
I'll be there in a few." He hung up and walked to grab his jacket that was hung on one of the dining chairs. He wore the jacket while walking to grab his keys on the living room's centre table. He walked to the door and gave her a short glance before walking outside.
He revved his engine before slowly reversing and zooming off.
