ch2-The first reqruit

Walking in the dining room with a tired look on his face Oliver sat down. For Analivia to walk into the dining room only moments later with an assortment of breakfast foods on a silver platter.

"Here you go Oliv…"

She was momentarily startled by the look on Olivers face, but decided against saying anything in light of recent events.

"I have looked into the girls, it will take at most 1 week to get them all onto the grounds."

She said while setting up the dinner in front of Oliver, to which he pointed to a chair next to him.

"Please Analivia, I have something to discuss with you."

Oliver had been struggling with this basically the whole night, it was true that he would like to keep his rebirth a secret, but not only he, also Analivia and the 3 girls needed to train, and there was no way that was going to happen if Analivia wasn't on board.

Plus, he could trust Analivia, and he had a special plan for her, making it practically impossible for her to betray him. That was of course the biggest reason, people he couldn't have a full grip on he would never tell his secret, this included the other 3 girls.

Of course laying it all on her right here and now would be impractical, hell she would probably dump him into the loony bin if she didn't love him so much. So, Oliver had devised a plan for this exact moment.

A moment later he pushed over a stack of about 20 sealed envelopes. Each with a specific date on them that would occur within 1 month, and one final letter.

"I want you, without asking me why, to open each one of these on the dates that is written on them. Don't let me near them, just make sure I can't tamper with them anymore, o, and before reading the last one, don't mention or ask anything about them, ok?"

Analivia was kind of startled as she took al the letters, but as she saw Olivers determined gaze she just nodded and went to put them away.

In each and every letter Oliver gave to Analivia was a piece of news, an event, stock movements, etc. all only having one thing in common, that is that they are impossible to predict. The last letter explained about his reincarnation, and a whole sob story about protecting her, Oliver knew Analivia, and this plan was basically guaranteed to work.

The next few days passed without much ruckus, Analivia started looking weirder and weirder at Oliver every time she opened another letter, not in the discussed sense, more in the wondering sense. Oliver on the other hand started exercising, it wasn't much, as his body also couldn't handle much, but it was a start.

Most of his time was still spend writing though. Now that he had written down all the info possible from the tutorial, floor 0, he could start putting it all in order, and most importantly start on a plan to complete it with absolute perfection.

[The tower] judged its challengers with itself as a benchmark, meaning that a 5 star score was never even dreamt about, for all be it humans or stronger races. But now, having all info possible, and 6 years to put it in one row, Oliver thought that he might have a shot.

Of course this was only because he knew the location of multiple hidden pieces that would greatly power him up. That combined with his previous experience as a challenger should give him the right head start to pull it off.

It had now been 4 days since Analivia started opening letters, and she had finally brought over the first of 3 girls, Emma Van Vleermuizen, a young girl, about the same age as Oliver with light brown skin, long strait brown hair, and black eyes.

She was currently standing before Oliver as she gave him the slightest of bows, shaking his hand after.

"It is a pleasure to meet you young master Oliver."

She said with a mostly monotone and clear voices, yet a slight hint of happiness could be heard behind it.

'She was known for her composure and intelligence, but I didn't know she had it from such a young age.'

Oliver had no doubt Analivia hadn't told Emma to do such a thing, bow or call him young master, but it seems like Emma knew exactly why she was here, and how she should behave. That was of course if she was going to serve anyone but Oliver.

"It is verry nice to meet you Emma, and you can drop the whole young master thing and such, let's just be friends alright?"

Emma, still composed gave a light nod, the smile on her face, al be it little visibly brightening.

'The makings of a fine assassin indeed.'

"Emma, I know moving to a new place so suddenly must be difficult, so your training to become maids will start next month, until then you can do what you want, if you need anything just call Analivia. Here, I'll lead you to your room right now."

Emma nodded with a smile as her eyes seem to soften.

The next couple of hours Oliver spend his time setting up Emma's room with her. He quickly came to know her, and honestly the rumors he heard in his previous life couldn't be further from the truth, but Oliver could see how they formed.

She was mostly silent, not because she felt nervous or something, but because she simply preferred to listen. Over those hours Emma's eyes softened, her body language relaxed, and he could, at least most of the time make out her grunts or similar reactions to his blabbering.

It was clear that Emma just had a difficult time trusting strangers, couple that with her silents, and the fact that [the tower] probably multiplied both those facts by a thousand it wasn't difficult for most to see her as cold.

"Well then Emma, I'll leave you too it, see you tomorrow, good night."

Before Oliver could leave he felt a tug on his arm, followed by a quick murmuring from Emma, it was difficult to follow, but Oliver was pretty sure he got it.

"thank you Oliver."
