The next day rolled around and Emma spend most her time in her new room, excluding the time during meals were she and Oliver talked for a couple of hours.
Oliver decided to leave Emma alone for now, as she just moved into a new environment and he wanted to give her some space. That wasn't difficult, due to the fact that only a day later the next team member arrived.
Veronica Hildenberg
Unlike Emma, who in the beginning acted a lot like a servant, Veronica greeted Oliver with a big smile while enthusiastically shaking his hand.
"Hello Oliver, thank you so much for letting me stay in this beautiful house, I'm sure we'll be best friends."
Oliver nodded with a similar smile as he looked Veronica up and down, she had curly blond hair, with shining bright blue eyes and clear pail skin. Her body was also on the extremely skinny side, indicating that she had gone through some rough times, but you couldn't tell at all by the shining expression on her face.
"It is verry nice to meet you to Veronica, why don't I bring you to your room, it's across the hall from another girl who arrived here 2 days ago, I'm sure you'll get along."
Veronica almost skipped to her room, but before even entering it she strait up be lined it to Emma's room, knocking enthusiastically on the door.
Rolling his eyes a little Oliver called out to Emma inside.
"Emma, there is someone here I want to introduce you to."
After some shuffling behind the door it finally opened, Emma standing in the middle of the doorway. Veronica, without even a second of deliberation almost threw herself at Emma.
"HELLOOO, I'm Veronica, also a maid of Oliver, WOOW, you're so pretty. You're going to be my new bestie."
While Veronica wanted to keep babbling she suddenly halted after seeing Emma starting to silently say some words.
"I'm Emma, nice to meet you."
With a lite smile on her face. It wasn't much, but now that Oliver was a little better acquainted with Emma, he could tell that she quit liked Veronica. That was quite the relieve as he was worried about their clashing personalities.
"Okey then girls I will leave you to it. Veronica, dinner is at 7, I hope we can really get to know each other then."
Oliver said while turning away, he could already hear Veronica entering Emma's room while talking loudly.
"Geez, he speaks so much like grownups, I don't know but it kind of fits his whole mature and dependable vide, I love that on him, … "
'She sure fits the support stereotype.'
He could just hear Emma giggling while he turned the corner. Sighing, Oliver got back to his room to write and think some more.
That nights dinner was truly a sight to behold, Veronica just kept on talking with such enthusiasm and a shining smile on her face that neither Oliver, Emma, or Analivia found her excessive talking a bad thing.
Analivia especially since Veronica kept fanning over how pretty she was, which was of course true, she just didn't get to hear that much. Oliver made a mental note of that, making sure that he complemented her more.
…
The next few days were much of the same, Oliver spend some time with Emma and Veronica walking across the grounds, while spending most of his time writing in his room. The more he did so the more he realized how complicated the [tutorial] floor really was.
On the last day of the 7 day period Analivia had promised, the last girl, Melissa Johnson arrived at the manor. She had short brown hair, a thin face and dark eyes, with a sort of passive bitch face. Oliver didn't care that much though and greeted her warmly.
"Hello Melissa, it is nice to finally meet you, the other girls have been here for a couple of days already."
Oliver motioned for her to follow him while she gave a short response.
"Yea Yea."
When they entered the hallway were Emma and Veronicas rooms were, before they could even get to Melissa's room Veronica came dashing at them, and quickly hugged Melissa. Melissa halfheartedly pushing her of off her.
"HELLOO, I'm Veronica, wow you're also so pretty, were going to be best friend I just know it."
While that was happening Emma came out of her room, and quietly introduced herself. Melissa seaming happier with that greeting.
"Anyway girls, I assume you guys can give Melissa a tour of the grounds. I will see you guys at dinner."
During dinner that night Oliver got to know Melissa a lot better, she was still a little stand of Ish, but it was clear that she was grateful to be here, and that that tuff outer shell was just that, an outer shell with a softy inside. Although it was clear that she was a fighter at heart.
Oliver was also relieved that none of the girls seem to clash too hard, all of them got along relatively well, especially since Veronica was easily able to break Melissa's shell. And Melissa didn't seem to hate it.
Emma on the other hand was a lot more reserved around Melissa, which Melissa seemed to like and appreciate.
And so the next month passed with relative ease, Oliver spend some of his days accompanying the girls as they made trips to town, or were just wandering the grounds. But still spend most of his days working on his master plan, and of course increasing his physical strength.
After all, once you were in the tower, such mundane training wouldn't work anymore to increase your stats.
