Within the next second, all hell broke loose and it was pure chaos.
The people who were once watching with anticipation were now wearing panicked and flustered expressions on their faces as they started to scream and ran away, afraid that they were going to be the next victim. People were running out of the office lobby and some rushed into the elevators trying to escape to the other floors.
By this time, the guards had already caught up to Aaron and they roughly pushed him down onto the ground despite his shouts and protests. They had his hands behind his back as they called the police.
My vision was starting to blur. I was getting light-headed and I swayed from side to side, grimacing in pain as I was struggling to walk and stand on my own. Just as my knees buckled and I was about to collapse onto the ground, somebody rushed to my side and caught me by my arms, holding me up.
