Chapter 3 One Night Stand

Street 7, Rose Bar, Room 666, Last Night, 7:50 p.m.

Passion was summser heart, too hot. It's a burning flame, too burnt. It's a summer sun, too bright. It's a hot spring, too warm. Couple with passion must undress clothes to feel freshness. They must be burned to sweat. They must turn off room's light. They must hug each other to each other's arms.

Belle was a woman, too gorgeous. She was a perfume, too strong. She was a cat, too wild. She was a bunch of sunshine, too warm. She gorgeous enough to hook any man made Charles admire her. She fragrant like a rose made Charles sniff her hair. She wild like a cat scratched Charles's T-shirt. She warm like sunshine warmed Charles's cold night.

Charles was a hot man, too hot. He was a glass of red wine, too easy for woman to get drunk. He was a cigarette, too easy for woman to get addicted. The more Belle was tasting a hot man, the easier she would get drunk and get addicted. Especially, when she was tasting Charles in the bed.

Belle kissed Charles on the lips. That kiss soft like silk wrapped them in cocoon of love. That kiss gentle like water met each other's thirst. That kiss burned like flame made them sweat. That kiss felt like one century. Because they couldn't get enough of tasting each other's lips. One kiss made them get drunk together.

Belle hugged Charles to her arms. That hug tight like two threads tangled together. That hug warm like hot spring made them bath together. That hug close like two branches cuddled each other. As well that hug felt like one century. Because they couldn't get enough of sniffing each other's scents. One hug made them get addicted to each other.

Street 7, Rose Bar, Room 666, 7:00 a.m.

In the morning, passion gone like morning fog faded away. It gone like rosy dream remained in last night. It gone like darkness encountered sunshine in daylight. It gone like a boat set out to another piece of sea.

Belle woke up next to her naked lover, and bent forward to kiss Charles on the cheek. After she woke up, the first thing she did was to give Charles a morning kiss. After one night, she was supposed to leave Charles. Because one night stand was just one night. After one night, last night's passion gone like mist faded away like a rosy dream.

Last night's passion made her sweaty and her hair messy. She intended to take a shower and leave Charles alone in the room. She walked to bathroom, and turned on the tap over bathtub. She poured some shower gel in bathtub, and watched bathtub be filled with foams. She laid in bathtub, and recalled last night's madness.

Street 7, Rose Bar, Room 666, 7:20 a.m.

20 minutes later, Belle put on a shower towel, and walked out bathroom. She picked up her black dress to put on, and walked to dressing table. She sat at dressing table, and soothed her wet blonde hair. In front of the mirror, another her in the mirror looked at Belle, as Belle looked at another her in the mirror.

Belle: Good morning, Beauty!

Beauty: Good morning, Belle! Are you showing off your glory that you hooked up a hot man.

Belle: You are my light side. I'm teaching you how to hook up a hot man. Do you learn something?

Beauty: You're a bitch! I don't want to be like you. Let me out, please!

Belle: I'm a bitch, but I'm you. Aren't you a bitch? Just admit it! You are a bitch!

Beauty: I'm not like you. I just had a crush on Tom, but never touched a man's hand. You had a kind of charm on man, and hooked up different kind of hot man.

Belle: You were born loser, but I was born winner. Don't you remember? How pathetic you were in senior high school. Tom was sport committee member in class, but you were just the most introverted girl in class. You had a crush on Tom, but never dared to talk with him. At home you obeyed what you were told by parents, but parents never cared about your feelings. In school, you had no friends, and even teachers believed you were just a hopeless case.

Beauty: I know how terrible I was back then. By the time I was young and alone. But I was not pathetic. I would like to call that I was just emotional.

Belle: Just admit it! Because you were too pathetic. That's why I appeared. It's me who worked hard to be excellent and popular. It's me who hooked up Tom, and dumped him. It's me who became the most popular girl in school.

Beauty: I intended to be a cool girl, but I never meant to be you. You know how to hook up different kind of hot man, but you'll never understand what love is. Love is a bottle of poison for you, too poisonous. It's a luxury, too expensive. You'll never give a second chance to any man. In case you might fall in love.

Belle: We know each other so well, but you don't understand me. You were too kind that you were bullied in school. You were too soft that you didn't dare to revenge and tell anyone. Maybe nobody but Tom would care about you back then. How funny! Only a stranger would care about you.

Beauty: I admitted it. I was soft, pathetic and stupid. Are you satisfied?

Belle: There's one more thing that you must explain to me. Today I feel a sense of hesitation. Did you have a kind of affect on me?

Beauty: Of course. You are me, and I'm you. We have a kind of affect on each other. What are you gonna do to him?

Belle: I'm gonna leave him. If he was chasing me, I'll drive him crazy.

Beauty: Charles is an excellent man. Cherish him, embrace him, you're gonna be proud of it one day. I promise you.

Belle: You don't understand me. See you, Beauty!

Street 7, Rose Bar, Room 666, 7:25 a.m.

Belle farewelled Beauty, and left the dressing table. Belle was supposed to leave Charles, and never saw him again. It's because her light side had a kind of affect on her. She came to Charles and woke him up.

Belle: Wake up! Mr. Charles!

Charles: Good morning. Miss Belle!

Belle: Good morning. Mr. Charles!

Charles: Last night you crazy like a wild cat scratched me.

Belle: Don't you like it?

Charles: I like your sexiness and wildness. But I don't know whether you are an angel or you are a devil. You are too wild last night.

Belle: Of course. How could I hook up such a hot man. If I didn't play any tricks.

Charles: You didn't wear wedding ring. Are you single?

Belle lied to him. Because the prettier the woman was, the better she would know how to lie. She lied to him. Because she didn't want to give him a hope. She lied to him. Because she didn't want to have a deeper connection with any man.

Belle: No! I'm a married woman. My husband is Jackey. He is the king of Street 13 in the underworld. If he discovered our affair, he will chop you into several sections, and dump your corpse to feed fishes in the ocean. Oh! I'm sorry! Did I frighten you?

Charles: Frighten me? Are you kidding me? I'm the CEO in BoE. I'm a billionaire, capable of hiring the best assassin to kill anyone. If he hurt you, I'll hire the best assassin to kill him. What did he treat you? Did he beat you?

Belle: When he got drunk and lost his mind, he would be a lunatic to beat me. When he calmed down, he would be the gentleman I married. He would beg for my forgiveness and go to bed with me.

Charles: He is twisted and insane. I've never seen such a lunatic.

Belle: I would like to show you his picture.

Charles: Is this your husband?

Belle: Of course.

Charles: Who is the girl next to him?

Belle: I don't know her. She must be my husband's mistress in the outside. I checked his cellphone, and found his adultery. I cheated on him, when he cheated on me.

Charles: May I know your love story with him?

Belle: By the time we were both young and innocent. Jackey was a gentleman. He threw pebble to hit my window, and dated me. He gave me protection, and sent his men to be my bodyguards. He gave me the finest dress, and sent his men to give me many gifts. Because of his gentleness, I fell in love with him.

Charles: How could a gentleman change into a lunatic?

Belle: Maybe power corrupted his soul. In the outside, he brought his men to fight for expanding his territory. He became the king of Street 13 in the underground, and also became another person I didn't understand.

Charles: You know. Power is a kind of drugs to make people get addicted.

Belle: Let's drop the topic. What are you gonna do with this precious morning?

Charles: Do you want to watch tides at dragon bay?

Belle: You're so bold. Don't you fear my husband to discover our affair?

Charles: I'm afraid of losing you. I wish we could be a pair of butterflies, that lived but only one romantic day. One romantic day we could fill more delight than 50 ordinary years could ever contain.

Belle: If today was your last day, what are you gonna do with your precious and priceless one day?

Charles: I'll buy a whole flower store's flowers for you to decorate your room with romance and fragrance. I'll buy two tickets to sail on ocean with you to explore the world outside H City. I'll buy the most shinning diamond ring to put on your finger.

Belle: Do you want to know what I want to do?

Charles: I'm listening.

Belle: I want to bath. Do you want to bath with me?

Street 7, Rose Bar, Last Night, 7:50 p.m.

Daisy found an excuse to leave space for Belle to hook up Charles. She intended to return the firm to deal with a pile of paperworks. But she had the 6th sense of woman. If she left the bar, she might never see the antique doll with traditional politeness again. She decided to boost her courage to hook up Zack.

The key to hook up a hot man was playing tricks. Pretending drunk woman was the most common trick in the bar. She held a glass of wine, and tottered to Zack's side. She pretended to fall in his arms and spill some wine on her chest.

Daisy: Oh! Sorry for hitting you!

Zack: You're too drunk to walk. You must need someone to grab you to go home. Where are you friends?

Daisy: Tonight I'm with two friends. One is dating a hot man, and another has gone with her bodyguard. Now I'm alone.

Zack: You know. A pretty girl alone might be in danger in night. Tonight I encounter you. It means we have a kind of connection. If you don't mind, I'll send you to go home. Where is your address?

Daisy: My home is at Street 8, No.8, Room 808, Red Queen District. Now you got my address. May I know yours?

Zack: This is my business card. Here are my address and phone number.

Daisy: Zack. You are a college tutor. The prices are raising, but teacher's salary is yet to raise. How could you earn enough money for a living?

Zack: I'm a college tutor. In additional of I'm also an author. I'm writing a novel lately.

Daisy: I'm Daisy, a lawyer. I want to write a novel, but my schedule is occupied. Maybe I'll write something, when I'm retired. What are you writing?

Zack: I'm writing love story, but I couldn't write a best seller. Maybe it's because I'm a single man with no experience.

Daisy: The greatest author once was a fresh man. Writing novel is a promising future. Every author would experience a hard time. Don't give up. Have faith, keep writing, you're gonna be proud of your perseverance one day. I promise you.

Zack: Thank you for your encouragement.

Daisy: It should be me to thank you for sending me to go home.

Zack held Daisy, and put her shoulder on his. They walked out the bar, and waved to a taxi driver. Soon a taxi pulled on the road for them to get in. Zack held Daisy, got in the back seats, and told the address to driver.

Taxi driver: Where do you want to go?

Zack: We want to go to Street 8, No.8, Room 808, Red Queen District.

10 minutes later, driver took them to the destination, and Zack settled the bill. Zack intended to take this taxi to return his home, but he was afraid that Daisy was too drunk to find her room. Daisy got Zack's business card, but hadn't hooked up Zack's heart. She bent forward, leaning on Zack's arms.

Zack: Are you alright?

Daisy: I'm alright. I can drink one more glass of wine.

Zack: Can you walk back to your room on your own?

Daisy: Of course. I can walk back to my room, even if I closed my eyes.

Daisy hugged Zack, and leaned on his chest. She got off the car, and walked to the apartment. Unlike Belle, she couldn't hook up a hot man at the first sight. She got Zack's business card, and got enough time to take it slowly. If she could learn more tricks from Belle, she would hook up Zack, sooner or later.

Zack watched Daisy walking further and further. He lonely to live his life, had no experience to go along with girl. He had been living alone for years. He couldn't find his sunshine, when his sky was always cloudy. Tonight he encountered Daisy who was iridescent, and also found his sunshine in his life.

Zack hid everything inside his heart, as he always did it. He intended to return to his home, and told his address to driver.

Zack: Please, take me to Street 4, No.4, Room 404, Red Queen District.

Taxi driver: Sorry. I can't take you to anywhere.

Zack: What's the matter? What's wrong with the car?

Taxi driver: It's not my car's problem.

Zack: Why can't you take me to go home?

Taxi driver: She gave you a large signal. I'm afraid you're gonna regret for the rest of your life, if you let her go alone. Don't you understand?

Zack: I understand.

Taxi driver: Why don't you chase her? What are you waiting for?
