PROLOGUE

"Shadows cannot vanquish shadows, only Radiance can achieve that"

the Goddess Elysia said as she stared at the projected scene infront of her.

There, a boy who seemed to be in his late teens stood at the base of a small mountain overlooking a battlefield as his silvery hair flattered in the breeze and his blue eyes locked onto the otherworldly invaders approaching.

"So It has come to this" she said softly.

"A son against a father, and a father against a son" she sighed and started moving towards an open portal infront of her.

She gave the projection a last glance before entering the green portal. There she saw the boy summoning millions of monsters and undead as he prepared for battle.

"The pain of those I lost and those you took"

The boy said as a tiger-like bird land beside him and bowed.

"The tears of those I love shall nurture my strength and resilience in the face of adversity" He said calmly while patting the head of the tiger-like bird.

"The blood of my people and my family courses through me like a raging river"

The battlefield shook to life as countless beasts and beastkins flowed out of open dimensional gates onto the battlefield.

"Fueling my resolve and igniting the fire of their legacy"

The teenage boy said calmly as he scanned the army he has summoned to aid him in battle before glancing back at the enemy's army.

"Today I stand not alone but with their blood"

"Grief!"

"Tears"

"Pain"

"And lurking souls"

He said calmly as he summoned a golden sword and a silver spear and merged them into a flaming sword.

He jumped onto the back of tiger-like bird and divided the flaming sword into two sets.

"Bring the entertainment to me, pesty little fries!"

He said as he raised his sword to signal the beginning of his legend!
