"How is the guards"Ariana asked, with her gaze fixed on the baby she was holding.
"They are all in good condition and are being treated" Zareel replied.
"Did you tell father?" She continued.
"Yes My Lady. He's aware of what happened and even deployed soldiers to search for us to avoid suspicions" Zareel said and Ariana only hummed to reply.
Declan looked at the woman holding him with a calm gaze.
He didn't know who the woman was, but for some unknown reasons, he felt comfortable and safe in her arms.
Ariana leaned down to kiss his forehead but he didn't feel any urge to pull back but instead gave in. This made the woman smile happily which exposed her striking beauty.
'Who's this woman? And why is she kissing me? I can't resist either. What is happening'
'And.…she looks soo beautiful' Declan thought.
He turned his head to look at the man standing beside the woman holding him and the man waved at him and smiled.
'Who's this man? And why is he shaking his hands at me' Declan thought.
At that moment he heard a sound in his head and a notification appeared infront of him.
"Ding!"

'What the is this' Declan thought as he stared at the status page in front of him.
He didn't what it was because his intelligence level was still low for him to fully understand what it was but he saw a name that felt very familiar as though it was a gem that belonged to only him.
As if waiting for that moment, the woman holding him mention the name and he immediately turned to look at her.
"Declan. I'll call him Declan" Ariana said while caressing the boy's cheeks.
"Seems like he likes it my lady" Zareel commented the moment he saw the boy turn his head as if responding.
"He has his father's hair" Ariana said softly and Zareel nodded in agreement.
"Do you think he'll be safe Zareel?" Ariana asked in a sad tone.
"Yes my lady. we have made all necessary preparations. The rest are there and are just waiting for my arrival, that is why they couldn't come in their body form to aid us in the battle" Zareel replied.
"Will you be taking him now?" Ariana asked, as tears swelled up in her eyes.
"No my lady. I'll allow you to take an hour to say your goodbyes. I'm sure Julian will arrive in a few minutes to escort you back home" Zareel replied and Ariana smiled in appreciation before he disappeared from the room.
An hour later...…..
Zareel entered the room with a young man who seemed to be in his early twenties. He had red hair and teal eyes with an athletic body. Unlike Zareel, he was wearing a simple black and gold fighting robe.
The young man walked toward Ariana before kneeling slightly.
"Greetings my lady. And congratulations" He said still bowing.
"Thank you Julian. Get up" Ariana said as she forced a smile.
She was very depressed at the moment because she was about to be separated from her son a few hours after being born.
"Can't he stay a little longer?" Ariana said with a pleading look.
"I wish my Lady, but unfortunately we can't. If we stay a little longer, the higher ups might detect his presence as long as he's in the Elven continent, and we I wouldn't want to be tracked down do we?" Zareel said.
"Mmm…but please promise one thing" Ariana said.
"Anything for you my lady" Zareel replied with a smile.
"Promise me that he'll maintain his father's name no matter what?" Ariana said as tears started streaming down her eyes.
She wished her husband was with her at the moment for them to hug their son together and shower him with kisses and make their family a whole.
Zareel looked at her and sighed before offering her a handkerchief. After cleaning her tears she raised her head and looked at Zareel before giving him a storage ring.
"Give this to him when he starts training. It contains some of his father's equipment and accessories" Ariana said she handed Zareel a silver ring.
She kissed Declan's cheeks and forehead before handing him over to Zareel. At that moment, the tears she tried so hard to fought back broke out like a dam.
"Don't worry my lady, he'll be safe. I'll report to you every six months"
"Julian, protect the Lady with your life and ensure she returns home safely. And you know where to find me when you need me" Zareel told Julian before turning back to look at Ariana.
"I request to leave my lady" Zareel said and Ariana motioned to inform him that he can go.
She couldn't look at him and the baby because the pain was just too much.
Zareel gave her a final glance before disappearing from the room.
His destination was The Western Continent Of Elyria.
"We have to leave my lady. You know we're still not out of danger. I have already settled everything with the person in charge of this place. I know you haven't regained all your strength but I hope you can still manage until you're home" Julian said.
Ariana only nodded her head while trying to clean the tears on her face.
Julian held her hand and supported her to be able walk outside where his mount was waiting.
His mount was a wind wolf sovereign.
Just as the name suggested, it was fast as the wind and could travel really far distances in short periods of time so it was the perfect mount for their journey back to the Winterglen Kingdom.
He supported Ariana to mount the wolf before he too mounted.
"Are you ready my lady?" Julian asked and Ariana hummed.
He then tapped the back of the wind wolf signaling it to set off.
Somewhere in the Elven continent...
A man who seemed to be in his early forties with all white hair and black eyes that seemed to have seen it's fair share of battles stared at the screen-like green crystal in front of him.
In there, a man wearing a black cloak while mounted on a golden wyvern and holding a baby could me seen.
The cloaked man caressed the side of the wyverns and mumbled something into its ears.
A few minutes later, the wyvern took to the skies and the display crystal turned back to its form.
The man was one of the guardians of the Elven continent. Since the cloaked person was out of his territories, his connection with him was cut off. He gave a sigh before relaxing back in his chair.
