New Generation Of Edoria

The priest walked towards the boy and removed an appraising device from his storage ring.

He activated it and scanned the boy.

Declan Val Cliff

Age: 10

Acquired Job Class: Beast Tamer

The priest looked at the boy in shock with a wide open mouth.

The appraising device he used on the boy is of the pseudo-divine rank.

It was gift which was given to the first ever priest of the nothern temple by a god and it has been passed on from generations to generations.

The only beings this device couldn't work on were only Gods and Demi-gods which made it even more surprising.

He appraised the boy once more to make sure he wasn't mistaking but the same thing appeared again which made him look at the boy as if he has seen an unknown being.

"Whe…where are you from boy" The priest asked still in shock.

"He's from Ashwood town guru" Zareel interrupted before Declan could reply.

"Are you related to the boy, Zareel" The priest recognized Zareel whom he had met many times in the past.

"Yes sir. He's the grand son of the town lord"

Zareel replied.

The priest looked at the boy once again before nodding his head. He recognized the boy as a delf but didn't say anything and only hummed to reply.

The boy in front of him was a walking mystery because even as a delf, he was fair skinned which was something unheard of. And he now had an ability as a job class.

He then instructed the monks to guide the children to the inner sacred ground of the temple where the final phase of the ceremony will take place.

As the children made their way to the sacred ground of the temple, those who were closer to Declan were stealing glances at him every now and then but the boy pretended he didn't see it. Some of these glances were of curiosity while others were looks of ridicule and mocking.

Some people were even intentionally talking in volumes he could hear, trying to provoke him.

"If you want me to punch someone for you, just mention and it will be done"Albert said as he walked side by side with Declan.

Declan who was still in confusion only shook his head and smiled. He was feeling was feeling sad because everything in his life weren't adding up and there seemed to be fault somewhere in him but he couldn't point it out.

"Come on bro! A beast tamer is not a bad profession, you can get strong monsters as your mount" Albert said as he tried to cheer Declan.

"I tell you what? I also got archery. It's also non-affinity profession right? So we're both beast hunters" Albert added, trying so hard to cheer his friend.

Declan on the other hand looked at him in surprise. Because of the incident with his job class, he forgot to ask his friend about his profession.

Although archery was also a non affinity job class, it was far 'descent' than beast taming in the eyes of Edorians.

Declan didn't say anything and just forced a smile to make Albert happy.

They had been friends for so many years and he knew his friend very well to know he won't stop until he was sure he is fine.

When they arrived at the sacred ground, they saw a different priest standing on the edge what seemed to be an alter and holding two symbols of Edoria in both hands and asked them to kneel.

The symbols were the said to be the strength of Edoria and every temple in the world possessed two of them, except for the saintess of the elven tree in the elven continent who possessed three.

The priest then raised the two symbols high in the air pointing towards them while staring at the sky.

"Guardians Of Edoria, a new generation has been born!" He declared as he slowly averted his gaze down to the thousand children kneeling infront of him.

"By the power vested in me, I bless you with the courage of the ancients, the wisdom of the sages, and the strength of the elements. May your hearts be filled with justice, your minds be sharpened with strategy, and your souls be ignited with the passion to protect our world"

"As you embark on your noble path, remember that you are the sons and daughters of Edoria, the defenders of the land, and the champions of the innocent. May your swords stay sharp, your shields stay strong, and your hearts stay pure"

By the light of the elements, I anoint you as the new generation of warriors, tasked with the sacred duty to safeguard our world from darkness and despair. Go forth, brave ones, and may the blessings of Edoria be upon you!"

Rumblings of thunder streaked across the sky as the heavens verified the legitimacy of the new generation.

A few seconds later, all the children received notifications showing their job class and it's abilities and skills.

This same thing was happening in the high temples all over the world. Today was the day of polos, and all children of the age of 10 had begun their journey to become true warriors of Edoria.

The people of Edoria marks the day of polios as the day their strength saved them thousands of years ago. That is why they aim at producing strength that will hold the foundation of the world and serve as it protectors.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the multiverse,

A portal gate was entering its final stages of completion.

Whiles everybody was looking into space with smiles, a silver haired boy on the other hand was at the verge of collapsing due to the unbelievable notification in front of him.

[Ding! Ceremony Success]

[You are now a warrior of Edoria]

Name: Declan Val Cliff

Job Class: Beast Tamer

Sub Clas: Error

Abilities: Error

Skills: Error

'What is wrong with me? Am I cursed?' Declan thought as he looked at what was infront of him keenly to make sure he wasn't mistaking.

Declan's mind raced as he stared at the notification in disbelief. "Error?" he thought. "What does that even mean?" He looked around, hoping to see if anyone else had the same issue, but the other children were all smiling and chatting excitedly about their new job classes.

"Hey, Declan, what's wrong?" Albert asked, noticing his friend's distress.

Declan showed him his notification, and Albert's expression turned serious. "That's weird. Let's go ask the uncle Zareel about it."

The children went to look for Zareel who was waiting outside. As they approached him, Declan felt a sense of trepidation. What if he was indeed cursed? What if he couldn't become a true warrior of Edoria?

After reading the notification, Zareel frowned.

The job class Declan received was already a problem which they had to solve using its information but after checking and seeing there was no information about it, he realized the big situation they had at hand.

Declan shad been entrusted to them so they had to find every ways and means to solve this. But he had to wait and get home first.

"This is unusual. Let me check something" Zareel said as he used an appraising device which was made in the demon kingdom to appraise him.

After a few moments of appraisal, his expression turned grave for a brief moment before going back to normal. He didn't want the boy to break down so he decided to just pretend and cheer him up for now.

"Declan, you know that your job class is already unknown, so the device is unable to determine your abilities. But I'm sure you'll have to create it's abilities and skills yourself since you're the world's first ever beast tamer, having it as a profession" Zareel said.

Declan's heart sank. "What does that mean?"

Zareel hesitated before speaking. "It means that you may have a special role to play in this world, one that is not yet clear. But do not worry, we'll be there to help so cheer up”

After the brief conversation with Zareel, calmed the boy a little, hoping what Zareel told him is the truth.

Divine Sanctuary Of The Gods...…

"It's time Orion" Uriel said with his arms crossed over his chest and his gaze fixed on the projection beside him.

"Finally!" Orion said soft in a relieved tone.
