A day has passed since the profession ceremony in Autumnvile. The journey from Autumnvile to Ashwood took almost 12 hours by carriage.
When they arrived, everyone in the town came to meet their childre, brothers and sisters at the town gate.
The atmosphere in the town was lively, filled with joy and excitement.
"Declan!"
Ava who was searching for Declan in crowd shouted as soon as she spotted him.
She walked towards him with a smile and gave him a warm hug.
Declan who was in his final stage of falling into a depression allowed himself to be hugged by the woman who had cared for him since the first day he was brought into the Cliff residence.
Eren also arrived at the scene on time and joined the hug.
"We're proud of you Declan" Eren said with a happy smile.
After the group hug ended, Eren looked at Declan but couldn't see even a faint smile on his face. At that moment Ava also realized the kind of sorry state the boy was in.
Because of the over excitement she was feeling earlier, she didn't take a good look at the boy before hugging him.
"What is wrong Declan? Why are you not happy? You just became a warrior, meaning you've come of age" Ava said she gently, raising the boys chin.
"He got an ability as a job class, he did….ughh" a boy who was standing not far from Declan yelped in pain as Albert smacked his head before he could even finish his sentence.
"He got an ability as a job class? What ability" asked Eren.
"Beast Tamer" Another boy said.

"What do you mean by beast tamer" Aaron who has just arrived at the scene asked.
The lively atmosphere earlier has vanished into thin air, replaced by solemn silence and only the sound of sobbing could be heard.
The tears Declan has been holding in all this time broke out like raging river.
"Let's go inside and talk Lord Cliff" Zareel who also arrived at the scene said. He planned earlier to take the boy to the town lord's residence himself but got distracted for a moment upon their arrival.
Aaron nodded and motioned for Eren and Ana to follow him.
Ana cleaned the tears on the boy's face with her dress and pulled him in an embrace before walking towards the Cliff residence.
Inside the Cliff residence, Eren and and Ava sat beside each other with Declan whose head was buried in her chest. Silent sobs could be heard in the room as they waited patiently for Zareel to give his report.
"What happened Zareel?", Aaron asked with a serious expression plastered across his face.
"Ava please take Declan to his room to rest" Aaron said after seeing the hesitation in Zareel eyes. Clearly he didn't want the boy and the rest to hear what he was about to say.
Eren also understood the situation and left with Ava.
"Now tell me everything that happened"
Zareel nodded and told him everything that happened in the high temple. When he finished his report, a serious look could be seen on Aaron's face.
"This is not a normal thing. I've lived for 98 years but I've never heard of something like this before" Aaron said and pondered for a while before speaking.
"Do you think it's something that has to do with his birth? Because I'm sure we took really good care of him and even til now, he's restricted from accepting anything from strangers and reports to me any stranger he encounters so I am very sure it's cause wasn't here"
"That is what I also thought. I contacted Oliver and he said the same thing. He's currently on his way here" Zareel said.
"Okay. Bring him to see me immediately he arrives"
"I will"
After talking for a few minutes, Zareel got up to leave before he remembered something.
"Oh, he also added that the demon king is planning an invasion. Roughly 4 to five years now. It can be less or more but no one knows their targe yet" Zareel said before exiting the house casually leaving the old lord behind.
'An invasion? Could it be that old bastard is still alive and kicking, pulling the strings from behind?' Aaron thought.
He knew that the previous demon king who was nicknamed lord of conquest really loved invasion, and there was possibility that he was the one behind this movement. Although his death was announced a few years ago, no burial ceremony was held for him, but many believes that he's indeed dead because as the ruler of such a great kingdom, it was just normal that a burial ceremony wasn't done.
But Aaron was different, he suspected that the man wasn't really dead because he knew him very well and knows how cunning he's.
He was the same person behind his father's death.
But he decided to put that thought aside for the time being.
For now, what he needed to focus on finding a solution to his grandson's problem.
Although not being able to see another person's status page and rank was a normal thing for people with higher ranks, Declan was still young and weak to hide his rank and status page.
And his job class was the most troubling of all. But he decided to wait for the boy to come back to his old self a bit and he would have a proper talk with him.
He was hoping to hear something that will help him get a solution to the boys problem.
Zareel arrived at his house which was located at eastern side of Ashwood town. He chose that specific location solely because it was located on a small mountain overlooking the Cliff residence. It was the perfect location for him because it would allow him to watch over the boy and teleport to the Cliff residence in a heartbeat, in case of emergency.
He walked towards the sofa in the living room and dropped his tired body in it and sighed in relief.
He looked at the folded scroll in front of him and a sad expression appeared on his face.
'How will my lady react to this news' Zareel thought as he opened the scroll and dipped a goose quill into an ink and added a few words to the scroll.
After folding it, he whistled and a birb with pigeon body and a fox head landed on his shoulders.
It was a birb that was known as a pengfox. They were only known in the demon continent.
"Send my apologies to my lady for not being able to come myself. There's a problem I need to deal with here" Zareel said as he tied the scroll to the Pengfox's neck.
"To the elven continent" Zareel said and the Pengfox bowed before flying away to deliver its master's letter.
Inside the Cliff residence.
Ava looked at the boy who was sleeping peacefully with a calm face and wished this peace would never fade, sadly even if they found a solution to the boy's problem, the world of Edoria wasn't a place where there was much peace. Sooner or later he'll have to set out and find his path in the outside world where everyday was filled with dangers and survival.
Somewhere outside the building, a pair of eyes which seemed to hold all the knowledge in the world locked it's gaze on the sleeping boy, waiting for the right moment to take action.
