Cumulative Summoning Symbols

Finn returned to the super battleship with Nami, and Carina was reluctantly with them as well.

In truth, Carina hadn't wanted to come, but Finn had forcefully taken her along, accusing her of "stealing." Despite her resistance, Carina had no choice but to follow.

As soon as they stepped onto the deck, a system prompt rang in Finn's mind:

"Ding! Congratulations to the Host! Rewarded: Heroic Spirit Summoning Pool (-No star limit!)"

Finally, the reward had arrived!

Finn opened the system space and checked. An interface for the Heroic Spirit Summoning Pool appeared, much like the one from the Fate series.

The rules were displayed next to it.

With a thought, the summoning rules were shown:

Summoning Rules: A summoning talisman is refreshed at 0:00 every morning. Each summoning talisman allows one heroic spirit to be summoned. The summoned spirit lasts for 24 hours.

Finn's gaze shifted to the "Summoning Talisman" section—currently, it was at 0.

However, it was almost evening, and in just a few hours, one summoning talisman would be refreshed.

Curious, Finn asked aloud, "By the way, system, if the summoning talisman isn't used, will it disappear the next day?"

"It won't disappear, Host. If unused, it can be accumulated," the system replied.

"Oh?" Finn rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

If he didn't use the talisman each day, it seemed he could save them up. This opened up a potential strategy—he could save a large number of talismans and summon many spirits at once. For example, summoning 30 spirits at the same time…

That kind of combat power...

He then wondered, "System, is there a limit to the number of spirits that can be summoned at once?"

"The limit is 10 heroic spirits at a time," the system answered.

Finn sighed in relief, though still disappointed. If there was no limit, he could've stored up enough summoning talismans to summon hundreds of heroic spirits at once—perhaps enough to overwhelm Mariejois itself. But 10 spirits at a time still meant immense power.

"Well, after midnight, I'll summon once to see how it goes," Finn muttered, closing the system interface.

As the sun began to set, a small party was held to introduce Carina to everyone. The mood was light and cheerful, with Nami happily welcoming her old acquaintance. But after Finn left, Nami noticed Robin had also slipped away.

"Just as I thought…"

Nami recalled the quiet exchanges between Robin and Finn earlier that day. Sensing an opportunity, she quietly followed them.

As she crept through the ship, she suddenly felt a small hand grab hers. Her heart skipped a beat, and she whirled around to find Carina grinning mischievously.

"Fox! You scared me half to death!" Nami said with a mix of frustration and relief.

"Little Thieving Cat! You brought me aboard and then snuck off without a word. Of course, I had to follow you," Carina teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Nami's expression grew serious. She grabbed Carina's arms and pinned her against the wall. "Carina, listen carefully. Since I joined the young master, I haven't stolen a thing."

"The only reason I brought you here was to help you stop being a thief. If you still have those thoughts, I'll make sure to tell the young master. He'll probably let you go for my sake, but I can't hold my head high if you mess up," Nami added firmly.

Carina paused, taken aback by Nami's intense tone. She forced a smile, though it was clear she felt uncomfortable. "Nami, don't talk to me like that. I'm not used to it…"

But Nami wasn't letting go. "I'm not joking! If you want to go back to that life of thievery, I'll help you, but if you want a fresh start, you need to stop here. I'm doing this for your sake, Carina."

Carina fell silent, pondering her options. Being a thief had its freedom, but as Nami said, it came with constant danger.

On the other hand, staying here offered security and a better future. At the party, Carina had heard stories from others about their struggles, but none could deny how this place felt like a new beginning. And the food—Carina had never tasted anything so good.

Finally, Carina reached out and gently grasped Nami's hand. "If I choose to listen to you, will we still be as close as we were when we were younger?"

Nami's expression softened, her serious demeanor melting away into a warm smile. "Of course. We'll always be the best of partners."

With that, Nami pulled Carina into a hug, and Carina's eyes filled with emotion. She felt a deep sense of gratitude for Nami, who hadn't just accepted her, but had always believed in her.

"Nami, everyone's having fun outside. Let's join them. Vivi and Rebecca were telling me great stories—I want to catch up with them," Carina suggested, eager to bring some cheer into the conversation.

Nami let go of Carina, but her expression turned sly. "Actually, no. I'll join them tomorrow. Right now, I'm going to check something. Since you're here, you might as well come with me."

Carina raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

"Follow me," Nami said with a mischievous wink.

Carina trailed behind, intrigued. After a short while, they arrived at a hatch leading to a large independent balcony—the size of a basketball court. Nami motioned for Carina to stay quiet, guiding her hand gently as they tiptoed closer.

When they reached the cabin door, they heard voices—Finn and Robin. The two women exchanged glances, silently agreeing on what they would do next.

They peered around the corner and into the balcony, eyes widening in shock at what they saw.

Hiss~! What they witnessed was enough to send a chill down their spines.
