Marine Special Operations Team, Whitebeard Squad

Ten days later, the super battleship arrived in the waters of Whitebeard.

"Gu la la la, Finn... oh no, I should call you Marshal Marine now!"

Standing on the deck, Whitebeard grinned at Finn, who stood opposite him. "Looks like we're heading toward a fight after all?"

Finn stepped into the air, his gaze sweeping over the deck of the Moby Dick. He spoke indifferently, "It depends... on how you choose."

"Do I have a choice? If I surrender, I'll be imprisoned in the deep-sea prison. Why not give it a try?" Whitebeard scoffed, a smirk on his face.

Though he knew Finn was immensely powerful, Whitebeard's survival instinct pushed him to fight back.

Roland shook his head, the air of authority around him clear. "No, no, you have a third option."

"A third option?" Whitebeard raised an eyebrow.

"You could return to civilian life with your sons. If you do, this young master will let you live," Finn proposed.

The Whitebeard Pirates fell into stunned silence.

Return to civilian life?

Hadn't they become pirates to escape the mundane?

"You've got to choose soon. I don't have much time," Finn reminded them.

After a tense pause, Whitebeard spoke, "Marshal Finn, since your goal is to overthrow the World Government, how about I help you?"

"Huh?" Finn raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Help?"

Whitebeard nodded. "If you want to eliminate pirates and bring peace to the world, I'll lend a hand."

"Before we overthrow the World Government, I just want to eliminate the pirates and give civilians a peaceful life," Finn replied.

"Clear the pirates?" the Whitebeard Pirates murmured among themselves, realizing the implication—if they joined this mission, they too would be wiped out.

Whitebeard stroked his beard and turned to Finn, his voice steady. "Has our existence ever harmed civilians?"

Finn didn't answer directly but instead asked, "What do you think?"

Whitebeard remained silent. How could pirates not affect civilians? For the common people, the name "Four Emperors" was enough to send them trembling in fear.

Turning to his captains, Whitebeard spoke again, "What do you all think?"

"Daddy!" the captains responded in unison, their voices filled with determination. "We'll follow you, no matter the decision!"

After a long silence, Whitebeard looked up at Finn. "Marshal Finn, I want to find a way for my sons to live with purpose."

Finn's eyes narrowed slightly. "What are you suggesting?"

Whitebeard paused, then said, "If we help eliminate the pirates, will there be a future where we can live peacefully afterward?"

Finn understood Whitebeard's intentions and nodded thoughtfully. "You're suggesting that you and your sons help Marine eliminate the pirates, in exchange for a future of peace?"

Whitebeard's expression softened. "Yes. If world peace is truly possible, who would still want to be a pirate? I believe you, Finn. I feel you're different from those before you. You can make it happen."

Finn was silent for a moment, then nodded, agreeing to the proposal.

"Alright! Since you say so, Whitebeard, I'll give you a chance. From now on, the Whitebeard Pirates will be appointed as the Marine Special Operations Team—Whitebeard Unit. Are you willing to accept it?"

Whitebeard was no fool. If anyone else had made this offer, he would've cut them down on the spot. But Finn had defeated him at his peak, healed his wounds, and shown respect. Whitebeard knew that resisting Finn was futile.

He inserted his sword, Cong Yunqie, into the deck and stepped forward, saluting Finn. "Marshal Finn, I, Edward Newgate, am willing to lead my subordinates as the Marine Special Operations Team—Whitebeard Unit!"

With a hearty laugh, he added, "Gu la la la la, does this old man's salute still look proper?"

The sight of a pirate giving a military salute was almost comical, but Finn couldn't help but laugh.

"Hahaha! It will grow on you!" Finn chuckled. He stepped down to stand on the deck, now at Whitebeard's level.

"Whitebeard, you made the right choice! Times are changing. Pirates will eventually be eliminated. I can assure you, a new era is coming! Soon, there will be no more pirates, no more revolutionary armies, and no more World Government!" Finn declared, his voice growing stronger with conviction.

"And Marine will lead the way! We will create an unprecedentedly equal world, where no one is oppressed and civilians can sail the seas freely. Murlocs will live in the sunlight, and no one will be a slave ever again!"

He placed a hand on Whitebeard's shoulder. "Whitebeard, now that you are part of Marine's special operations team, it's time to make a difference. Do it well, and peace will be your reward!"

With a final reassuring pat, Finn turned and walked away, leaving Whitebeard and his crew to ponder the new path ahead.
