With the addition of the Whitebeard team, the task of eliminating pirates has been significantly accelerated.
"A traitor has emerged among our ranks!"
"Shameful! To become Marine's lackey! More disgraceful than the Shichibukai!"
"Damn Whitebeard! He's here to destroy us pirates! Has he forgotten he was once one of the biggest pirates himself?"
Suddenly, pirates across the seas began denouncing the Whitebeard Pirates as traitors.
Hearing these insults, the captains of the Whitebeard Pirates were furious and vented their anger by attacking pirate ships wherever they could, putting even more pressure on the pirate fleets.
One month later...
The pirates on the seas were gripped by panic from Marine's relentless purge and began fleeing in all directions. Sometimes, just as a group of pirates were preparing to plunder an island, the cry "Marine is coming!" would echo across the shore, and the pirates would immediately scatter in fear.
The name "Marine" alone was enough to send pirates into a frenzy.
In this climate, some pirates disappeared into hiding, while others, refusing to back down, formed small alliances to resist. But just a few days ago, a major event shook the pirate world.
The Beasts Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates had announced their alliance, forming a united front against Marine. They became the Pirate Alliance and began distributing pirate posters across the seas. The posters read: All pirates are invited to Cake Island to join the Pirate Alliance and fight back against Marine's ruthless actions!
Charlotte Linlin and Kaido were speaking out, rallying the pirates to unite and retaliate against Marine, with the goal of attacking Marineford and destroying the Naval Headquarters once and for all.
The impact of this announcement was immense.
Many pirates realized that Marine's purge was no joke. If they didn't build a counterforce, they would be wiped out by Marine's fleet.
At Naval Headquarters, Marineford:
All Marine fleets had returned for repairs after their campaign.
"Report from all departments," Finn commanded, his eyes scanning the room.
"The elimination of pirates in East Blue went very smoothly," said a Vice Admiral. "All pirates with bounties over 10 million were eradicated. The rest were mostly wiped out, though a few escaped and are hiding out at sea. They can't be completely eradicated in a short time."
Aokiji added, "The five major families of the West Blue Mafia have been completely destroyed. We've taken out 138 pirates with bounties over 30 million, including 13 with bounties over 100 million."
"The suppression in South Blue went well. Nearly all pirates with bounties over 100 million were eliminated," reported Fujitora.
Kizaru spoke next, "The Germa 66 organization in North Blue has been fully wiped out. The remaining high-value pirates have also been eliminated in large numbers."
Once all the reports were finished, Finn nodded, clearly satisfied.
The results were better than he expected.
Finn tapped his fingers on the table, and Tashigi immediately distributed a stack of documents to everyone.
"These are the intelligence reports on the Pirate Alliance," Finn said. "According to our sources, Charlotte Linlin and Kaido plan to launch a large-scale attack on Marineford in one month. This will be the largest pirate mobilization we've ever seen!"
Kizaru raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a mock frown. "A terrible war, huh?"
Sakazuki clenched his fists. "Good! It's the perfect opportunity to capture all those pirates!"
Vice Admiral Crane gave Finn a serious look. "Marshal, if this battle truly takes place, we can't underestimate the scale of it."
She spread a document before Finn and pointed to the seventh page. "Look here. While the Big Mom Pirates and the Beasts Pirates are well-known, other notorious pirates have joined the Pirate Alliance, including Red Earl, Byrnndi Wald, San Juan Wolf, Van Orca, and Shiryu of the Rain."
"These are some of the worst criminals we've ever faced," Crane added.
Everyone studied the list, their faces grim. In addition to the names Crane had mentioned, the list went on with even more notorious pirates. This was only a portion of the total number.
"These are just the ones we know of so far," Crane continued. "The real numbers could be even higher, and the alliance includes many sub-level pirates with significant influence."
Sengoku then spoke, his voice steady. "The pirates are cornered, and the Pirate Alliance is their only hope. It's not surprising they've put aside their differences to unite. But that makes them a force to be reckoned with."
He continued, "While this poses a threat, it also offers us an opportunity. If we can wipe out the main force of the pirates in this battle, it will greatly accelerate our progress in eliminating them."
Crane nodded. "True. But we can't forget that there's a greater threat still at play."
Everyone's expression tightened at the realization.
"Yes," Sengoku said quietly. "Mariejois hasn't made a move yet."
They were obviously biding their time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And it was clear that this moment would be the final battle between Marine and the pirates.
"Finn, are you sure about this?" Sengoku asked, his voice serious.
Finn shrugged nonchalantly, offering a small smile. "Of course I'm not sure."
Everyone stared at him, dumbfounded.
You're the Marine Marshal! Even if you're unsure, shouldn't you be keeping that to yourself?
Finn, seemingly unaware of the shock he caused, grinned. "Don't worry. We'll adapt when the time comes. If things get too tough, we'll just slip away!"
Slip away?
Everyone in the room froze.
This is Marineford! Where exactly would you slip to?
