Dark Trauma

"Take him to the detention room," he ordered. The bodyguards dragged her, making her leg hurt even more.

Xu Yi Han's eyes drooped, and she stifled a yawn. Her manager sighed, noticing her fatigue.

"Are you feeling sleepy?" her manager asked.

Xu Yi Han heard her but didn't answer. Her manager sighed.

"Look who we have here," Xi Nou, who came to fight with the CEO, said as she walked towards Xu Yi Han. Xu Yi Han didn't bother to look at her and continued walking.

"I am talking to you," Xi Nou said furiously, stamping her feet to stay in front of Xu Yi Han, forcing her to stop.

"Finally," Xi Nou muttered under her breath.

Xu Yi Han folded her arms. Her manager whispered in her ear, "She is Xi Nou. She will be your personal maid in the new series you are making." Xu Yi Han nodded slightly.

"You look like a pig," Xi Nou insulted, glancing aside to see two men setting up their cameras. 'I hope my paparazzi are ready,' she thought.

Xu Yi Han stood silently.

'Say something, you bitch. Insult me, be captured, please,' Xi Nou thought desperately.

"Let's go," Xu Yi Han told her manager, and they both walked away to their car.

"XU. YI. HAN!!" Xi Nou screamed, breathing heavily. Her manager walked towards her, holding a camera.

"Let's go, Yi Nou. Xu Yi Han is smarter than us," he said. Yi Nou glared at him, and he made a zipping motion over his mouth.

Xin Yi sat in the empty dark room, crying quietly due to the pain in her leg and the fact that Li Qiang didn't believe her.

Muchen stood near a lane road not far from the mansion, looking around as if expecting someone. When he saw Ru Xuan running towards him, he waited for her to come closer.

"Where is Xin Yi?" she asked, breathing heavily.

"Calm down," Muchen said, putting his hands on her back. She pushed them away.

"I won't calm down until I know where Xin Yi is!" she said firmly, and Muchen couldn't protest.

"She is in the guards' torture room," he said.

"What! What torture?!" She didn't want to believe what she was assuming.

"Nothing will happen to her. She is just in a dark room. Master is brave; she will be able to survive," he assured her.

"What! Am I the only one who knows she has a dark trauma?" she asked, and Muchen looked shocked as if he had just remembered.

Xin Yi held her head, tears flooding down her eyes.

Heavy rain was falling in the dark, and a happy family was seated in a car with their little daughter behind them, singing happily.

Until…

A truck's lights flashed at them, and the father couldn't see anything.

"TURN!" the mother shouted.

Xin Yi closed her eyes tighter, not wanting to remember that incident.

She moved her leg to the side and discovered she wasn't alone.

"I will go to that crazy Master and tell him Xin Yi is a female," she suggested.

"Do you want to see your friend dead?" he asked.

"Then what should we do?" she asked.

"Go home. I will figure it out. Our meeting can't be found out," he said.

Ru Xuan nodded. "Please do whatever you can to save Xin Yi," she begged, and Muchen nodded.

Muchen watched Ru Xuan as she walked away and entered the cab that was waiting for her.

Muchen also started walking towards the mansion.

Li Qiang rolled up his sleeves and walked back and forth in his room.

Muyang entered and closed the door.

"That crazy Xin Yi deserves to die," Li Qiang said to Muyang.

"Sir, there is something I haven't told you," Muyang said, walking closer to Li Qiang.

"What is it?" Li Qiang asked.

Xin Yi moved her hand to see what was beside her. She touched and touched until she found out it was a skeleton, which made her pass out immediately.

The next morning, Xu Kaicheng walked downstairs with pride. He walked towards the dining table where his father was already seated.

He didn't bother to greet his father. He sat on the chair and grabbed a steamed bun.

His father took a sip from his traditional tea and placed it back on the table.

"What are you still doing in my house?" he asked, looking at his father and then looking away.

"Ah, Li Qiang has been sleeping in his father's house, with him not sending him out. So you have no right to do so with me," he pointed to himself and ate his bun.

"But you forgot I am not that old Gou, nor are you Li Qiang. Almost half of their money is made by Li Qiang. Now tell me, how much have you made for this family? All you do is wait for me to give you money," he said, taking another sip from his tea.

Xu Kaicheng stood up and walked out of the house angrily, but his dad didn't bother to call him back as he sipped his tea.

"Get Xin Yi. We have work to do," ordered Li Qiang.

Two guards nodded and went to bring Xin Yi.

Xin Yi was dragged out as she was unable to walk well, her face pale.

They left her in front of Li Qiang. She looked up at him and collapsed.

Li Qiang crouched down to check if she was still breathing.

"Muchen!"

Muchen, who stood scared of what would happen to Xin Yi, responded, "Yes, Sir!" and walked closer to him. Li Qiang stood up and looked at Muchen.

"Take her to the hospital," he ordered, and Muchen nodded.

Li Qiang walked out of the bodyguards' quarters.

Muchen picked Xin Yi up.

The other bodyguards came forward, concerned.

"Take good care of him, or should I come with you?" Hoayu asked.

"It's okay," Muchen said, smiling.

"Take care of him," the other bodyguards said, and Muchen nodded.

A lady entered a dimly lit room, closed the door behind her, and walked towards the man seated on the chair.

"So, how far with him?" His voice sounded so similar to Li Qiang's.

"He is doing well."

"Did I pay you to tell me he is doing well?" he asked, sounding frustrated.

"No, sir, but he hasn't been in any bad situation right now," she said.

"Then make one for him," he ordered.

"Okay, sir," the girl replied and walked out of the room.

Ru Xuan rushed into the hospital and walked as fast as she could to the room where Xin Yi was. When she entered, she found Xin Yi looking pale, with her hand connected to a drip and her injured leg hung up and redressed.

She walked towards her, crying quietly, and sat on the chair.

"I will kill Li Qiang," she gritted her teeth.

"It's impossible," Muchen said, walking towards her and patting her back as she cried.

"We should be grateful he didn't do anything more to her," he said, grateful, because many of the bodyguards who entered the torture room did not come out alive.
