Yuto's Handling, Brother's Choice

Outside the villa, Ni Shuang paced anxiously, glancing at Yun Yun. "Sister, Xiaotutu has been inside for two minutes. Why hasn't he come out yet? This doesn't seem right."

Yun Yun, trying to stay calm, speculated, "He's probably just gathering supplies."

Hutuan'er nodded, agreeing. "Most likely. With the captain's strength, taking care of those enemies shouldn't take this long."

Growing impatient, Ni Shuang straightened. "Sister, you guard the perimeter. I'm going in to check."

Yun Yun nodded but cautioned softly, "Be careful and stay alert."

Without hesitation, Ni Shuang leaped gracefully over the three-meter wall. She moved silently across the yard and up to the front of the villa, immediately noticing the destroyed surveillance cameras.

Inside the villa, three bodies lay lifeless on the floor. Ni Shuang muttered to herself, "Of all the people you could have angered, you chose the God of War?"

To her, Yuto Saito was more than just a powerful warrior—he was unstoppable.

She continued through the house, passing by the kitchen where she found an abundance of crabs, abalone, and other provisions. Swiftly, she stored them in her ring before moving toward the storage room, taking everything valuable she could find.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the villa, Yuto Saito had discovered a large safe. With his enhanced strength, he pried it open effortlessly, revealing stacks of gold. Without a second thought, he placed the entire safe into his storage ring.

Satisfied with the haul, Yuto descended the stairs. As soon as he reached the ground floor, he sensed a familiar presence—Ni Shuang. If it had been anyone else, he might have struck without hesitation.

Ni Shuang, hearing footsteps, gripped her axe tightly, prepared for a fight. But when she saw Yuto, she relaxed, a smile crossing her face. "Xiaotutu, it's finally done. We can sleep easy tonight."

Yuto gave a brief nod. "Yes, but we need to leave quickly. It's not safe here."

Ni Shuang glanced at the corpses. "Do we burn them or bury them?"

Yuto thought for a moment. "There are too many trees and hay around. A fire would spread easily. It's better to bury them. I'll take care of it."

He retrieved a simpler ring from his collection, carefully placing the bodies inside. He didn't want to contaminate his higher-grade ring with them.

"Give me two minutes, Xiao Shuang," he said before flying towards the back of the mountain.

While Yuto took care of the bodies, Ni Shuang stayed on high alert, scanning the villa and the surrounding area. Something felt off. Why were there only three people in the villa? Could it be that when the apocalypse struck, Zhang Bafeng's men fled in fear, abandoning him? Or was Zhang Bafeng so paranoid that he dismissed them to protect his location?

Two minutes later, Yuto returned and rejoined Yun Yun.

She looked at him curiously. "Xiaotutu, why didn't you come out with Xiao Shuang? She went to find you."

Yuto blinked in surprise. "She's not outside yet? I'll go check."

At that moment, Ni Shuang vaulted over the wall and rejoined the group.

Yuto, relieved, asked, "What took you so long?"

Hu Tuan'er chuckled. "Were you busy collecting more supplies?"

Ni Shuang shook her head. "I cleaned up the blood and created the illusion that they ran away."

Hu Tuan'er raised an eyebrow. "Was that necessary? With the captain's strength, who would dare challenge us?"

Yuto, however, praised her. "Well done, Xiao Shuang."

Curious, Hu Tuan'er asked, "Why did you bother cleaning up?"

Ni Shuang explained, "We don't want to leave a trail of vengeance. If we give the impression that they fled, their allies might think twice before coming after us. It's better to avoid needless bloodshed."

Yun Yun added, "It's also a warning to Zhang Bafeng's close ally, Chen Fan. We can eliminate threats without leaving a trace. If he's smart, he'll stay away."

Hu Tuan'er finally understood. "Ah, that makes sense."

Ni Shuang sighed. "I just hope Chen Fan doesn't come looking for revenge. We've shed enough blood. We don't want to be forced into more."

Yuto nodded. "Let's head back."

The group activated the teleportation array and returned to the floating island.

As soon as they arrived, Mina and the others, who had been chatting on the sofa, stood up excitedly.

Natto eagerly asked, "Brother Su, how did it go?"

Yuto smiled. "It's done."

"That's amazing!" Natto exclaimed.

Mina, impressed by their speed, praised them. "You guys really are quick."

"We also collected a lot of gold," Yuto added, pulling the gold from his ring for everyone to see.

The girls were stunned. Orange, wide-eyed, stammered, "There's so much! There must be a thousand pieces here."

Yuto gestured to Xianxian. "You can keep the gold. You'll need it for making diamond pills later."

Xianxian smiled. "This is too much! I'll take a hundred pieces for now. You keep the rest."

Yuto nodded, placing the remainder back into his ring. "I'm going to take a bath. You all relax and chat."

He headed upstairs, finally able to unwind. As the warm water cascaded over him, Yuto felt a wave of relief. Zhang Bafeng was no longer a threat.

Meanwhile, miles away, Chen Fan was frantically trying to reach Zhang Bafeng. His calls went unanswered, and worry gnawed at him. Fearing the worst, he drove to the suburban warehouse, only to find it empty. The door was ajar, and all the supplies had vanished.

"Did Brother Zhang run away?" Chen Fan muttered. "Why can't I reach him? Did he change his phone again?"

Panic rising, he sped toward the villa. Upon arriving, he found it deserted.

Something was terribly wrong. Zhang Bafeng would have contacted him if he was leaving. Could he have been killed? The thought chilled Chen Fan to the bone. He had heard of Zhang's enemies—awakened beings with terrifying power.

Chen Fan didn't want to get involved. He had a family—a beautiful wife and two precious daughters. He couldn't afford to lose them.

Driving away from the empty villa, he made a decision. He would pretend Zhang Bafeng had simply run off. There was no need to poke at a hornet's nest.
