The dawn broke over the dense forests, but it no longer carried the same peace as before. Last night's attack had left a heavy mark on the hearts of humans. News spread rapidly across settlements: the animals were rising. Mysterious disappearances, unidentified footprints around villages, and the haunting cries echoing from the darkness filled everyone with unease.
At the heart of the forest, The Sage Rat stood before the war council. The Wise Crow, Abyssal Dragon King, and leaders from various natural kingdoms had all gathered. High above, flocks of birds circled, reporting on human activity.
"They have begun their response" The Wise Crow rasped. "Hunters have been summoned, and traps are being set everywhere."
"We cannot allow them time to adapt" The Sage Rat said firmly. "Last night, we planted fear. Today, we will make them realize that nature is no longer theirs to control."
A mighty roar shook the ground. From the depths of the jungle, The Forest King—a colossal elephant with tusks as sharp as swords—stepped forward. "My kind is ready. For too long, our forests have been ravaged for human greed. Today, we take back what is ours."
From the rivers, a massive crocodile emerged. "The swamps are no longer safe either. The waters have been poisoned, and humanity must pay the price."
The Sage Rat nodded. "Then let nature strike back."
The plan was set in motion that very day. The army of the jungle, led by The Forest King, stormed into logging camps. Hundreds of elephants, rhinos, and buffalo charged forward, demolishing everything in their path. The sound of splintering wood, the screams of men, and the cries of fleeing workers blended into a chaotic symphony.
In the rivers, crocodiles and water snakes swarmed into fishing villages, cutting off freshwater supplies and fish stocks. Eagles soared through the skies, attacking food stores and causing mass panic.
Underground, rodents continued their sabotage, gnawing away at bridges and contaminating granaries.
And then, the worst happened.
A distant volcano, dormant for centuries, began to tremble. Cracks formed along its surface, and heat seeped from deep within. No one knew that hidden inside, an ancient force was awakening—a being even The Sage Rat could not fully control.
The war had escalated beyond expectations. Nature was not just fighting back. It was furious.
