Julie's POV:
I woke up to the same miserable feeling. It felt like a banging rock against my head. My eyes glanced at the dull dark room that I was made to live in. My body ached from the cold hard bed that I was made to sleep in. Cobwebs were formed at the corners of the room as well as the lonesome, broken down cupboard that was located to one side of the room.
It was as if I was living in a dungeon because I had committed a heinous crime. However, that was not true. No, I did not commit any murder, robbery or any sort of crime. The only reason I was kept in such horrible conditions was because I was simply existing.
When I was born an orphan, the moon goddess decided to play a terrible game with my life by not bestowing a wolf to me. Being a werewolf with no wolf was considered even worse than being a regular human.
My foster father, John Smith, the Alpha of Silver Claw Pack and my brother, Jack, left me bleeding in these conditions. John hated me from the start, seeing me as a humiliating object to his well-respected name. Jack followed along in his footsteps and treated me like trash. I was forced to do all the house chores, treated as a maid in my own home.
I was hated not just by them but practically the entire pack. The only person who gave me any sort of comfort, care and love was my mother, Silvia, the Luna of the pack. She was all I had but she passed away as soon as she took me into the pack.
I rubbed my drowsy eyes and tied a rag to my dress in preparation to clean my room and home along with the other house servants while my dad and brother would sit on the dining table, munching on the breakfast that was sitting for them. I was only allowed to chew on the leftovers after successfully completing my chores and tasks.
With great difficulty, I managed to sweep and swab the floors until they were sparkling.
"I'll see you later." I heard my dad saying to Jack before heading towards the door to leave for work.
I tried to bid my dad goodbye as well but Jack stood in my path, blocking me from the door.
"Why are you here stinking up the living room? Shouldn't you be inside the kitchen? I told you to never get your disgusting sl*tty body anywhere near us." Jack said with disgust as he placed his hands over my chest pushing me away.
I shrieked in pain as I lost my balance and fell onto the floor. Like any werewolf, my body was in heat, emitting pheromones, a strong scent that drives male wolves into heat towards me, as soon as I turned 18.
However, since I didn't possess a wolf, I was unable to find a mate to mate with and remove the heat that I was in. This made me continue to emit these pungent pheromones wherever I was, forcing dad to confine me to the walls of the packhouse.
I wasn't allowed to show myself outside anymore as I could further damage my dad's reputation amongst his own pack.
I knew that saying anything wouldn't change his mind so I meekly picked myself up with my head still lowered to the ground and ran into the kitchen.
After I finished breakfast, I headed to my room while my brother ventured out with his friends, preparing themselves for the hunt that was going to take place at night in honour of the full moon feast. The full moon feast was a tradition amongst all packs where the warriors along with the Alpha would hunt prey and offer it up to the moon goddess at full moon before feasting on them.
Many wolves, even from other packs would come to our pack to celebrate, except for me.
I headed towards my cupboard and pushed the clothes that were hanging aside, revealing a small narrow door.
Being alone in my cold hard room all the time, would often get me bored especially after I would finish the majority of the house chores. I always wanted to explore the outside world and just be free for some time… which was why I had installed a secret door from my room that would lead me to the outside world. Through this passage, I would successfully reach the forest area near the packhouse where I could be at peace.
Whenever dad and Jack would leave, this was how I would spend my time.
Once I had crawled through my secret passage, I was hit by the bright sunlight. I stretched my hands as I finally left my depressing room and into a place which gave me some life in my bones.
A rare smile formed on my face as I walked through the bright green forest with my hand lightly tapping the leaves of the trees near me. I kept walking forward when my ears finally got hit with the gentle sound of a river. My eyes landed on the cool water hitting the rocks that were stuck on the river bed and sticking out of the surface of the river.
Near the banks of the river, I sat down to take in the calmness of the forest and enjoy peace away from my hectic and abusive life.
As I sat on a rock, with my eyes closed and feet submerged into the cool clear water, I heard a slight snap of a twig nearby, disturbing the peace that I was slowly leaning into. My eyes scanned the area in front of me from all sides to check and see if it was just a squirrel or someone else…
I grabbed hold of my dress, frantically looking through the dense bushes and trees surrounding me.
Just when I thought the coast was clear, I saw a guy's reflection in the clear water of the river, standing just behind me. I got startled and immediately sprang up from my seat as he stood before me.
Before I could process what was going on, my foot slipped, threatening me to fall into the river. However, before I could find myself drenched, the man behind me strongly gripped my hand.
"Woah. Didn't mean to scare you." he chuckled, yanking me back to safety away from the river.
I placed my palm on my chest, as I was trying to catch my breath. I lifted my eyes, laying my gaze on the man.
I was taken aback from what I was seeing. His dark brown eyes stared deep into me while his fluffy dark brown hair flowed below, covering a part of his forehead. He stood tall, his muscular frame threatening to rip apart his black shirt while his black stubble failed to cover up his sharp jaw.
My eyes threatened to pop out of their sockets when I realized that this man was no ordinary man.
He was a lot more than that. He was the son of the Alpha King who ruled the western part of the land along with his own pack, Mighty Howler's Pack.
"Alpha Jayden? What are you doing here?" I stuttered almost immediately.
"Tonight's the full moon feast right?" He replied with his lips curving to form a subtle smile while his eyes glistened.
I couldn't help wondering what he was doing in the forest since it wasn't time for the hunt yet.
"I haven't seen you much around here. You're that wolfless girl aren't you?" he asked, taking small steps around with his gaze taking in the trees and bushes nearby.
"Yes.. I'm Julie." I answered, feeling a bit surprised that he knew who I was. Though I never got to show my face to the pack for a while now, I guess being the only wolfless she-wolf was enough to have gossip spread about me.
"Ah, yes! Julie… I knew I could smell you out here." he took a deep breath, inhaling my pheromones that were floating in the air.
My cheeks turned bright red while my body stiffened as embarrassment took over me. I had never been around other male wolves except for my dad and brother so I didn't expect how they would react around me.
I took a step back as Jayden took a step further towards my brother. I lowered my head, unable to look directly at him.
"No wonder daddy had to keep you away. You smell amazing… so delicious." he leaned in and whispered into my ears.
I felt a chill down my spine, feeling extremely uncomfortable as he continued to gaze at me.
"I-I have to go…" I meekly uttered, my sight still focused on the ground.
Though the smile on his face remained, his eyebrows lifted as he said, "Why? Stay… I've found a pretty good spot nearby… There are a bunch of pretty flowers blooming over there. Don't you want to see it?"
"Oh, no thank you. I should get home." I instantly replied. I knew that if I had to stay any longer in the forest, the pack's army would be arriving soon for the hunt. I didn't want dad to catch me out of the packhouse… only the moon goddess knew what he would do to me.
I took a step forward to walk away but I stopped immediately as Jayden blocked my path.
"Come on. It will be fun.. you should enjoy life after being cramped up inside all day." he advised enthusiastically, while worry etched all over my face.
"Thank you but I'm sorry… I really should get going." I meekly insisted, trying to go around him.
Suddenly, I felt myself jump out of my skin when Jayden tightly gripped my waist, pulling me towards him before he slammed me against the tree next to us.
"What are you doing?" I screamed as my body trembled in pain from the impact.
Without any warning, he tightly pressed his lips against mine while his hand trailed down my body, underneath my dress. I kicked my feet in the air, struggling to get his hand off me but it was of no use.
He was way stronger than me.
"Oh, come on. Don't act like you don't want this. I can feel you getting wet already." he bit his lip as he circled his fingers over my underwear.
"P-Please l-leave me! I don't want this." I pleaded as tears began to stream down my cheeks.
"Don't lie to me, you wh*re. You clearly like this... Your body's getting all heated up when I touch you." he said with a chuckle, pinning me even harder against the trunk.
"H-Help!!" I screamed in horror as he threw me onto the ground before undressing himself and laying himself on me.
"Save your breath. You can't do sh*t. No one is going to come to save a b*tch like you." He said before lifting my dress, exposing myself in front of his evil lustful eyes.
—————
Darkness soon took over the forest while my cries dimmed as I didn't have the energy to cry any louder than I was before.
"Ah! You felt so good for a wolfless r*nt." he moaned in satisfaction, leaving me alone on the ground with trauma etched across my face. I held my shoulders together as I shivered with fright.
"See you later, sl*t" he coldly said before walking away.
As I sat on the ground, with intense pain between my legs, I began to cry really loud. I was shivering in the cold as my body was weak after the intense thrusts Jayden did into me.
Suddenly, I began to panic even more, once I could hear more than a dozen approaching footsteps.
"Is that your daughter, Alpha?" I heard someone yell in disgust as tears welled up in my eyes.
