The Milana is more a soul than a being. This soul is continually reborn within the Realm of Trannisa, and it is tasked with maintaining the balance withn the realm. Rachel was chosen when her grandmother Lanncey succumbs to corruption and the soul of the Milana enters Rachel.
She had always been powerful but with the memory of the Milana she becomed inexplicable. 
Her entire life has been about doing what she wanted when she wanted without caring about the thoughts or cares of others around her.
But what happens when the realm's tenuous balance is disrupted? What will she choose when she has to lead her realm and be beholden to a will other than her own.
She has the capability, the resources, and the cohort to succeed. The question is does she want to succeed in anything, or does she just want to remain an aimless adventurer.

'Greyson! Be careful. We just saw a large eye within the barrier when it shimmered.'

'Yes My Lady we will be on guard. It is probably a spell that allows the caster to periodically check on the realm.'

Marie frowned. 'Does that mean that we alerted someone.'

'Not necessarily but I can not know the answer to that. Most likely it is expecting fighting and for us to stop whomever from entering. Inaction would be more of an alert then reaction.'

Marie merely nodded as she listened. Sometimes asking Greyson a question could be hazardous to a person's health.

Pasor suddenly straightened and Zat smiled broadly. Pasor spoke into Marie's soul.

"It would seem that we have a visitor. The door will open soon. What do you want us to do?"
