"Next is going to be Nathaniel. Come pick up your Machop. And Lucia, Budew is waiting for you." Professor Rowan said
""Yes."" Responded a pair of kids.
Nathaniel have brown hair and eyes, tanned skin color cause of the training and exercise under the sun. White training clothes of those that are used in dojo's, and a red belt around his waist.
Lucia has a fair cream skin color, light blue eyes, black hair and a dress long to reach her knees that combine with her eyes.
"Thank you very much, professor."
Professor smile a little bit before saying: "you are welcome. Train well and become great pokemon trainers."
"We will" said Lucia, while Nathaniel nodded his head up and down. Taking their respective poke balls from the professor hands, and giving their Pokémon some words of encouragement. Taking sits to watch to other trainers receive their Pokémon.
"Well, now that I finish with the pre ordered Pokémon, why don't we continue with you three. You can discuss which Pokémon you are going choose. Each of you are going to get one so don't fight here. You can always exchange your Pokémon with another person if you feel your Pokémon is not compatible with you." Says professor Rowan.
"I will like to get chimchar, I feel we can be a great team." Said a excited girl voice.
"For me there's no problem, I would like a Piplup for my first pokemon. What about you Levy? Said another girl voice.
"Then I will get Turtwig." I responded.
"Great, now that you choose which pokemon you want, here take their poke balls. This is the pokeball for Chimchar, Sandra. This one is for Piplup, Elena. And lastly this yours Levy. Like I said before, take good care of each other."
"""we will, professor. """
"Now follow me, my assistant will let you register your Pokémon and now that you are officially battle trainers, you will get 5 poke balls each."
"Thanks professor."
"Uhm"
"Professor I have a question."
"Go ahead, Elena."
"How much a Pokémon battle trainer gain from each battle, is there other methods to gain money aside from fighting?"
"Good questions, the answer to your second question is yes, there are many ways to gain money. One of them is being a Pokémon coordinador. Which consist on collecting all necessary ribbons in a Pokémon contest circuit. And participating on the Grand Festival. The first three places in the competition receive a substantial amount.
There's also a Pokémon professor or assistants that works for the government to research Pokémon, they diet, home, ways they evolve, abilities they can learn, etc. Each professor choose what they want to study, and the government pays them a hefty amount for their discovery.
"Farms are also good for people that wish to work for them. Let alone that us humans need food to survive, Pokémon also need food and there are some berries farm that needs protection from the Pokémon that are in the forest or flying.
There is also becoming a nurse like the Joy family, in some big cities they need assistants like us professors. Pokémon trainers with Pokémon that know moves to cure other pokemons are very welcome. And not just for pokemon, humans also needs medical treatment and attention if something bad happens.
Also, you can get quest in the Pokémon center of any kind. From moving medicine from one town to other if they needed, looking for something that a citizen lost in certain place. Captured a pre ordered pokemon, and the most frightening type of quests, defend or help evacuate all citizens in a town, village, city or country, in the fatality of a case phase 1, a Pokémon horde. Or in a fatality case phase 5 against legendary pokemons outraged, total annihilation."
"Gulp." Some of the kids turned pale at the last sentence.
"A level of precaution is needed if you are going to choose the next one I'm going to tell you and that is being a police officer or assistant of it. After all, they confront "bad guys" and are responsible to maintain peace inside a village, town or city. Like battle trainers, they don't know how the other person is going to respond, that's why my advice for you on having precaution in that field, well you need to have precaution in all jobs really.
Even though there are many other jobs, the most famous and last one I'm going to tell you is Pokémon trainers.
Your license not only let you complete quest and gain money but you can battle each other for an specific amount on which you have agreed on. The Pokédex also works as a money transfer machine from one Pokédex to another.
Each of you agree on the amount, the system retains the money from each account and the winner takes the money.
An F tier battle can go from 50-250 poke dollars. An E tier battle from 250-500. D goes 500-1,500. C 1,500-2,000. B 2,000-3,000. A 5,000+. S 10,000+. The amount is not fixed, it can go up or down. That would depend on who is your oponent.
And before you ask me the requirements to become an S battle Pokémon trainer is having 2 or more Pokémon at level 81 or higher. One reason battle trainers are so popular is because of the champions and elite 4 of each region. They want to have the same amount of power, but trust me you need more than power to be a champion. When you finds out what it is what makes a champion what they are, you will become one too.
You are beginning your journey, take one step at a time. Don't lose yourself trying to prove something to someone who might not even be looking at you. As long as it doesn't affect others, be yourself and you will be surrounded by those who are going to the same place as you."
