Back to the Wizarding World

MC POV

I arrived at the same park as last time, when I had visited Rose's world. Before coming here, I made a necessary purchase—a Universal ID. It essentially gave me an identity and background for any world I visited. Cost me a solid 25,000 CP, but there's nothing I could do about that now. I had to stay under the radar, after all. I open the storage and took out an item, feeling the wand the one I'd gotten from the Gacha in my hand and stored it safely inside my coat pocket before making my way to 12 Grimmauld Place. Gotta look as wizard like as I can.

The Pagani I made for Sirius hummed smoothly as I drove through the streets. The car was an exact replica of mine, built using my Herrscher powers. As I approached the doorstep of Grimmauld Place, the front door opened, and Sirius stepped out, greeting me with a warm smile.

"Ah, there you are," Sirius said, grinning from ear to ear. His eyes immediately moved to the car behind me. "What's this beauty, then?"

I gestured towards the Pagani. "This, Sirius, is your new car. I promised I'd get you one, didn't I?"

His face lit up like a kid seeing a new toy. He walked around the car, inspecting it carefully. "Merlin's beard, you really outdid yourself. I've never seen anything like it."

I chuckled. "I thought you'd like it."

Sirius leaned back against the car, still grinning, before his expression grew a bit more serious. "So, what brings you here? This can't just be a social call, can it?"

I nodded, knowing I'd have to lie, but keeping it simple. "I found a lead on Pettigrew. And I have some information... it's better if we talk inside."

Sirius's face hardened at the mention of Pettigrew, but he nodded, gesturing for me to follow him inside.

The house still had that eerie atmosphere, though the presence of Sirius made it feel more like a home now. We walked toward the living room, and Sirius called for Kreacher, ordering him to prepare some snacks and tea while we talked.

I sat down, trying to keep my expression calm. I couldn't tell him everything—about the future knowledge i had because it came from my past life. It would lead to too many questions. That went for Rose, too. Instead, I had to be cautious. I decided to stick with the story I'd come up with on my way here.

"Sirius," I began slowly, "I think Rose might be in danger. There's a chance she could get possessed in the future."

His eyes widened, and he immediately stood up from his chair, alarmed. "What? How? What are you talking about?"

"Calm down, let me explain," I said, holding up a hand. "When I was here last, I sensed some dark magic lingering on Rose. Specifically, around her forehead. I noticed it when we were searching for clues to help clear your name."

Sirius's expression darkened as he processed the information, pacing around the room. "Dark magic? On Rose? How could I not notice it?"

"To be fair," I said, "it was faint. But it's enough to be concerned about."

Sirius stopped pacing and looked at me, his brow furrowed in thought. "I need to call Lupin. My mind isn't calm in situations like these."

I nodded, gesturing toward him. "Go ahead, this is your house. No need to ask me for permission."

Sirius walked over to a nearby shelf, taking out a small mirror. It was a two-way communication mirror, one that he and Lupin peobably used to stay in touch. He spoke into it, summoning Lupin, explaining that it was urgent.

While we waited for Lupin, Kreacher arrived with a tray of snacks and tea. The old house-elf glared at me but set the tray down without comment, clearly still holding a grudge against anyone not of "proper" bloodline. Thinking of Bloodline, I could also be considered a lord since I was probably the only Emiya in this world and the ID also stated I was Lord Emiya or Head of the Emiya Clan in Magical Japan, ill look into it later.

I picked up a cup of tea, not really feeling hungry but needing something to do with my hands. A few minutes later, Lupin arrived, looking a bit tired but alert.

"Remus," Sirius greeted him, clasping his hand, "thanks for coming so quickly."

"Of course," Lupin said, looking between the two of us with a raised brow. "What's going on?"

I quickly recapped what I had already told Sirius. "While Rose and I were searching for clues to help clear Sirius's name, I sensed dark magic on her. It seemed to be concentrated around her forehead. I don't know what it could mean, but it's serious enough that we can't ignore it."

Lupin frowned, taking a seat next to Sirius. "Dark magic on Rose? That's... strange. You're sure it wasn't some residual magic from the house?"

I shook my head. "No, it felt like something specific to her. Almost like a curse or a possession, but I can't be sure. I've been trying to find more information, but it's difficult."

Sirius leaned forward, his voice low. "And what about Pettigrew? You said you had a lead."

I nodded, sticking to the lie I had crafted. "Through some informants, I got word that Pettigrew might be hiding out in Albania. There's no solid proof yet, but it's a lead worth following. We could finally bring that rat to justice."

Sirius slammed his fist on the arm of his chair. "That bastard has hidden for too long. If you've got even the slightest lead, we have to follow it."

Lupin nodded in agreement. "I'll start looking into any connections we might have in Albania. It's not a lot to go on, but it's something."

I glanced at both of them, relieved that they were buying my story, but there was still more to address. "We also need to focus on Rose's safety. Whatever dark magic is lingering on her, we have to find a way to remove it before anything happens."

Sirius ran a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated. "I'll protect her with everything I've got, but if there's a curse or something on her, how do we remove it? We're going to need someone who understands this kind of magic."

I sighed. "It won't be easy. Dark magic like this isn't something that can be broken with a simple spell. We might need to consult with a curse-breaker."

Lupin thought for a moment. "Maybe Bill Weasley could help? He's a curse-breaker for Gringotts, and I'm sure he'd be willing to take a look."

Sirius and I exchanged glances before Sirius nodded. "That's a good idea. I'll reach out to him, see if he can come by and help. I won't risk Rose's safety."

Lupin added, "In the meantime, we should keep an eye on her, see if she's showing any signs of being affected by this dark magic."

I nodded. "I agree. But we have to act quickly. If this magic grows stronger, we don't know what could happen."

Sirius clenched his jaw. "We'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I owe her that much after everything."

As the conversation drew to a close, I realized that I'd set things in motion. Now, I just had to be careful about how I guided them. The last thing I needed was more questions about how I knew so much. But for now, Rose's safety was the priority, and I'd do everything I could to protect her.

We finished our tea, and as Sirius and Lupin discussed the next steps, I excused myself. Tomorrow, things would start moving. We had a lot of work to do, and not much time to do it.
