226 hit the wrong person

During a brief pause in the gunfight, Jimmy swapped in a spare Glock magazine and shouted, "You okay? Got hit?"

Jones replied, "I'm fine, not hurt," and then fell silent again.

Jimmy watched the enemy at the opposite wall corner, the distance was now close to Heart Eye's limit. With prolonged use, Heart Eye's range had improved from around 15 meters back when he was with the county police to more than 20 meters. Jimmy had pondered this issue, and it was most likely related to the white spot he noticed while watching the Priest perform an exorcism; it seemed that since then, Heart Eye had upgraded because the visible distance had grown faster in the past six months than before.

The problem now was that if the gunmen moved away from the wall corner, Jimmy wouldn't be able to see them anymore and would have to change positions; the best spot was actually near the barrier on Jones's side.
