Corpses were carried out, both from the Human Clan and the Witch Clan, with more from the latter.

After an indeterminate amount of time, someone came to report that the lowest layer had been fully excavated. Wei Yuan snapped out of his trance and went over to look.

The lowest layer was completely uncovered with several hundred human corpses visible; half of them had succumbed to serious injuries, dying in the small hall right in front of the escape passage. The rest were scattered across the level, surrounded by Witch Clan bodies.
