Chapter 262: The Age of Dharma Decline, Part 1

"You head back to the village first and don't wander off," Wei Yuan advised the girl.

"What about you?"

"I'm going up the mountain to take a look; I'll be right back."

The girl puffed up with annoyance. "You just think I'm a burden!"

Wei Yuan didn't reply but tacitly agreed. However, the girl's stubborn nature kicked in, and she flat refused to leave. With no other choice, Wei Yuan took off the rope hanging behind his waist and approached the girl.

"What are you doing?!" The girl cried out in alarm, then covered her mouth herself.

Wei Yuan didn't hesitate to begin, securing the girl's burdensome chest tightly, saying, "This will do. We need to run fast to get back before breakfast."

The two of them hurried along the mountain path to the back mountain, and this time, it was much smoother. They encountered many traps set by hunter uncles, but thankfully, all were clearly marked, so they avoided stepping in them.
