Mike looked at her, considering the idea. "It's risky. If we make a move too early, we could give Ruddy the chance to respond. But if we wait too long, he'll own the narrative."

David's fingers paused over his keyboard. "There's another option," he said quietly. "We don't just go to the media—we go after Ruddy directly."

Mike's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"We find him," David replied, his voice steady. "If we can figure out where he's hiding, we confront him before he has a chance to go public. We force him to admit what he's done."

Kiara's heart skipped a beat at the thought. Confronting Ruddy head-on was dangerous, but it might be their only shot at stopping him from destroying everything they'd built.
