Chapter 101

They arrived at Garrett's safe house a few hours later, the tension between them growing thicker as they approached. Garrett had been cooperative so far, but they were asking for something bigger now—something that could endanger him if Ruddy ever found out. 

The small house was guarded by security, and as they stepped inside, Garrett was already waiting for them. He looked more disheveled than when they had last seen him, his face pale, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and resentment.

"I heard you stopped Ruddy's men," Garrett said, his voice shaky as he motioned for them to sit.

Mike didn't bother with pleasantries. "We need to know about Ruddy's offshore accounts, Garrett. You gave us enough to get the authorities interested, but we need more. We need details—account numbers, locations, everything."

Garrett's eyes widened. "Offshore accounts? Look, I already told you everything I know about his deals and connections. I don't know anything about—"
