Damn, no way. That's so rare and even more cool than the teleportation ability. Jack spoke in excitement.

Heyyy, Jin moaned seemingly displeased cos of the sudden attention that was being showered on Kevin. Although this was always going to be the natural occurrence when meeting someone who had a rare ability such as Kevin. If anything he wasn't angry, but was a bit annoyed due to Jack's reaction, but he was not one to get easily offended.

Kevin's ability was rare and unique because the ability user had the power to communicate with Techs, as long as it was computer based. They can also program and reprogram the tech. But Kevin was special. For others they could only perform this two functions, but Kevin could also give certain mechanical robots Life. After they had all known each other's ability, Kevin went back to the amplifier.

Now back to the amplifier. Kevin said with his usual cold tone. Do you mind if I took a look at it for a couple of days.

Sure, but I can only let you have it for 2 days.

Ok, that would be fine.

I hope you don't break it. Lex said handing over the amplifier to Kevin.

No problem, I hope we get to work together more. After he had succeeded in taking the amplifier from Lex, he headed back to his desk to work, even while he worked his Google still hung round his neck. It only made the Lex and Jack wonder if the Google was just for fashion.

Lex and Jack were left with Jin. Lex looked around trying to spot something exciting to do, but no matter how beautiful the room looked other than that their was nothing else exciting. Jin had a suggestion, although their was nothing to do in the dorm, their's no way they aren't other fun things to do outside.

I've got an idea, if you guys aren't too busy I can give you a tour around the school premises, you are both gonna love it.

That sounds great Jin, I bet it's gonna be fun. Come on Jack let's get going.

I think I'll pass on that, after all this I still need a little more rest, but I hope you both have fun. After speaking, Jack let himself fall on the couch as he laid, his hand covering his face.

Lex only shrugged his shoulder. Suite yourself Jack. Come on, let's get going Jin.

They both Exited the dorm room, leaving only Jack and Kevin together.

10 MINUTES LATER.

After taking a short nap of about ten minutes, Jack springs up from the couch, as he approached the bedroom. I think I've had enough rest, now lemme get my present, he spoke cheerfully.

He takes out a gift box and places it gently on the bed. After seeing Lex's, Jack's excitement grew more. This was one of the reasons he had stayed back, dying in the pool of curiosity to see what his gift actually is, as he had planned to unbox it. He was too excited to get a proper rest, and he could no longer wait. He was currently on his soft and comfy bed with his gift just staring at him, he tore up the wrap like a wild animal devouring it's prey.

Ok, let's see what crazy gift grandpa has for me this time. This was the thought that rang in Jack's head as he took off the wrap.

The whole wrap was now removed and the gift was revealed. The Large contagious smile which was once plastered on his face quickly vanished, he only had a look of confusion and a deep wrinkle after seeing what his long awaited present was.

A book, seriously. Come on grandpa this can't really be the awesome gift I was dying to see. Jack's words contained a mixture of sadness and disbelief.

Hold on Jack, he spoke to himself. Maybe it's an ability book. Grabbing the book, he read the title of the book rather calmly, his initial thought of it being an ability book was quickly dismissed. As a matter of concern he was quite familiar with the book as his Grandpa had read it to him a couple of times when he was younger, he also had a copy at home but had quit reading it after he turned 11 simply bored of having to read it over and over again.

I guess grandpa isn't as crazy as before.

Jack was disappointed and didn't bother reading the book, but left it lying on his bed, while he focused on the mess he had made.

He took the trash out and he returned to his favourite spot-on the dorm. He laid on the couch, and after some seconds he went on an unplanned appointment with sleep still feeling disappointed.

2 HOURS LATER

Tap tap.

Jack we're back. Lex called out to Jack while tapping him lightly.

Opening his eyes, Jack could see Lex's face looking down at him with a large smile.

Oh, how long have you guys been away, and where's Jin. Jack asked with a sleepy eye.

It's still evening man, why you acting like you've not slept in days. Well we've been gone for 2 hours, and Lex is in the Kitchen.

You hungry cos we bought food.

Oh that's ni....

Oh he's finally awake. Dude you missed a whole lot. Jin said coming out of the kitchen.

Hey, cool it Jin I wanted to tell him first.

*Of course, Lex never fails to report back to me anytime he does something fun without me*

Jack can you believe the school is much more huge inside than it looks outside. We weren't able to completely explore the school so we decided to go get food in the city. Can you believe this school also has a game hall, and it's seriously large I almost got lost.

Lex continued talking non stop on their experience during the little tour, shortly after Jin joined them and both Lex and Jin continued to torment Jack.

Damn it guys, I really should have joined them on the tour, staying here and listening to their non stop blabbering isn't making the matter better either. Gahh I wish the gift didn't sulk as much as it did, I would probably be in a better mood than I am right now. If I stay here with this two I might actually lose it.

Luckily, Jack's murmuring was completely muted out by Jin and Lex talking.

Guys I got to do something in the bedroom. He quickly rushed to the bedroom, successfully escaping Lex and Jin.

3 HOURS LATER

Hmmm, Jin I'll be right back lemme go check on Jack.

Yh no problem, I guess he's still a bit bummed out cos he didn't joined us, not to mention we rubbed it on his face.

Yeah, I bet next time he would roll with us.

Stepping into the bedroom, Lex could see Jack lying on his bed with his eyes closed.

Come on Jack get up we saved you some stew for dinner. Oh come on Jack don't tell me you're still beating yourself up about not joining us on the tour, though I told you it was gonna be fun. Lex smiled while taunting Jack as he approached him.

Well, I guess he's asleep. Lex was now currently few steps away from Jack's bed before he spotted...

Huh, isn't that Jack's favourite book, I thought he was over it and left it behind.

Lex tapped Jack to try waking him up. That was a mistake. The second his hand made contact with Jack, something strange happened.

Jack's body started lighting up blue and a strange blue energy was expelling from his body. As for Lex, his body was gradually being absorbed by Jack who was still unconscious and unaware of what was happening. Lex could not move, and this caused his heart pound. His head was blank, and in panic he started screaming for help. Rushing into the room were both Kevin and Jin who had heard Lex's panic cry.

Hold the freaking buzz, what's going on here.

The boys were witnessing Lex's body being absorbed by Jack. Lex was almost completely absorbed, what was left of him was his upper body and the hand he had used to make contact with Jack, but it was only a matter of time before he is completely absorbed.

Come on smart guy think. What are we gonna do?
