I... I .... I have no idea on how to stop this. Kevin could only put his head down while clenching his fist. He has never felt as dumbfounded as he currently was.
Fine, I'll have to try something. Jin said stepping forward trying to grab Lex, but before he could, he felt a strong pull from behind.
Are you nuts! although I don't know how to stop this, I don't think making contact with Lex is a great idea. You might end up like him and we don't know what's going on here do we. Ok, let's just say you are able to pull him out what would be left of him, he would barely survive. Looking at Lex, Jin could only bite his lip.
Sorry Lex, but I can't do anything to help. They both stood their feeling helpless as they watched Lex get absorbed completely by Jack. Slowly the blue stream of energy started reducing, until it was completely gone, and so was Lex.
I guess its ... it's all over. Jin spoke but his words were shaky, and he had taking a few steps forward before suddenly, the blue energy once again was expelling wildly from Jack's body, but it only formed a ball of energy around him which caused him to start floating. Seeing this, Jin jumped backwards avoiding the blue energy. He was now beside Kevin. The ball of energy destroyed the bed underneath, and Jack had stopped floating, but the strange energy only got Wilder.
This can't be good. Jin spoke to no one but himself, failing to notice Kevin was no longer in the room. After some seconds, they came an explosion.
The explosion sent Jin flying out, and he had landed so hard on the couch in the living room. It was no longer standing on it's four legs as they had been destroyed by Jin's devastating landing. Shortly after Jin rolled down from the couch to the floor, landing on his back.
Owwww, that hurt real bad. Jin said groaning as he tried to pick himself up.
Luckily for you the couch broke your fall, you could have broken a few bones . Kevin said while walking towards him.
Nice, thanks for noticing Kevin. Jin said sarcastically putting on a wry smile as he stood up from the floor, ignoring the pain in the process.
Why are you not hurt?
Well, I had guessed what would happen and I left the room just in time before the explosion.
Great couldn't you have warned me?, I mean what if I had gotten a serious injury?. Jin asked slightly pissed.
I could have warned you, but I always thought you were the adventurous type. And like I said you were quite lucky not to break some bones. Unlike his usual cold self, Kevin had a slight smirk on. This only got Jin a lot more upset, but before he could yell or react, Kevin was soon seen walking to the room. Jin decided to follow some steps behind him just incase they were any more surprises.
Entering the room, the boys were almost not surprised by how unkept it currently was as the explosion had destroyed the beds and table, as well as other materials that were now scattered about. The walls were not left out as well, as they were decorated with scorch marks. All this was disregarded by the boys who were focused on Checking on Jack, whom they believe must have gotten more injuries than them, and they both believed he was in a better place to explain what had just occurred.
Before the boys had entered the room, Jack had regained his consciousness, but he was still holding his head which was aching him severely. After some seconds though he was fine, but was not at full strength.

Several notifications were coming in, but they were in Jack's head.
What the whack is going on. Wait, what's going on, what are all this notifications about. Are they in my head? Jack thought to himself with great confusion.
He was unable to see due to the notifications blocking his vision, not knowing what to do, he thought of closing the notifications, and they all disappeared. After they had disappeared, he could now see his environment and was surprised how dirty looking it was. Jack had spotted Jin and Kevin walking towards him. He tried standing, but was too tired, so he just leaned on the wall for now, until he had recovered well enough to stand.
Guys, what happened?
Both Jin and Kevin looked at each other in confusion as they had expected Jack to have some kind of explanation for what had happened, but it seemed he was in the dark as well.
Wait, so you're saying you can't remember what happened? Jin asked perplexed
No, seriously all I can remember was going to bed and waking up with a stupid headache, and seeing myself on the floor.
Kevin gave a sigh of dissatisfaction before he went on to explaine the event that had occured just earlier.
10 MINUTES LATER
After listening to the explanation from Kevin, Jack still found it seriously hard to believe, but he had a hunch what must have caused the whole thing.
So he's saying I absorbed Lex, but how? Wait the book, yeah the book where is it. Jack spoke to himself while he looked around for the book.
What book? Jin asked him since they had both heard his words clearly.
Looking around the room, Jack spotted the book but it's book Cover was now completely transformed to a more dark and burnt state, he called for Lex to help him get it since he was still unable to stand.
Jin had done so without question.
Opening the book, he flipped through the brown pages of the book violently and carefully as well so he wouldn't tear it up or rip a page out. He had stopped at a particular page, but it was blank.
Hmmm that's odd, did I skip this page.
Once again Jack's assumption was wrong, as he quickly found out all the pages were blank but one. The page which was not blank was the last page, and it had a finger print on it. Quickly, the memories of what had happened before now flooded Jack's head.
After Jack had gone to bed to lay his sad head, he picked the book he had left on the bed.
Gahhh, I guess I have no choice but to read the book again. After reading some pages of the book, Jack only got frustrated.
Damn, Grandpa it's the same book. I've read this a good number of times, why would you still give me this book again. The book was a short one that talked about some group of superhumans and it was true Jack had read this book more than a million times with and without his Grandpa, and he could probably narrate the lines almost 100% without having to look. It was truly frustrating for him, but he was about to discover something new about the book.
Wait, I can't remember seeing this page, it looks new. He flipped through some pages and he discovered his assumption was correct. He quickly went back to the first foreign page, and started his read from their.
Reading the book was not as boring as before, as he read through hoping to conclude it. But no matter how much he enjoyed reading the book, he never still derived the joy he would have gotten from receiving a real gift.
After a couple of minutes reading, he was finally at the last page. The last page did not contain words, but it had a diagram of a finger print on it.
Funny, I don't see how this relates to the story. Jack thought out loud to himself in an annoyed tone. He looked down at his index finger, as he tried measuring the diagram on the page with his finger.
I think they are the same size. He felt like he needed to place his finger on the diagram, and as he slowly and gently placed his hand on the print, something strange happened. Jack immediately felt a surge of energy flow through his body while it was pinned on the bed. The book was levitating, while the energy was being transferred to Jack's body. He was unable to move any part of his body, his eyes weren't excluded as he could not blink but only starred at the levitating book, he could only endure the pain while his body lay flat on the bed unmoving. The strange blue energy was circulating round his body, his veins as well took an unnatural color blue just as other parts of his body. After the process which took about five whole minuteswas completed, the book fell on Jack's body while he was trying to maintain consciousness. His vision was slowly fading due to the exhausting transfer of energy, but before he completely lost his consciousness, he received his first ever system notification which completely obstructed his vision.
