Loosing It

Scott turned back, a shiver running down his spine. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something, or someone, had been out there. All this vampire stuff was starting to get to him, playing tricks with his mind.

He shook his head, trying to clear the thoughts clouding his mind as he stepped into the bathroom. He flicked on the light, the soft glow illuminating the small space as he began to undress. His movements were sluggish, weighed down by the whirlwind of emotions and confusion swirling in his head.

As he removed his shirt, his fingers brushed against a faint line on his neck. It was almost invisible now, but he still felt its presence, a ghost of what had happened that night. He sighed heavily, running his fingers over it one last time before stepping into the shower.
