"Do you want to have a cold?" Leo's gentle voice boomed behind her.
He was drying her hair with the towel. He was also super close to her. Abi felt hot from where she stood, becoming stationary immediately. He was still drying her hair when she turned around to look at him.
'Ah! He got taller,' she rolled her eyes and began batting her eyelashes.
"When did you return?" she asked him softly.
"This morning," he answered, continuing, "You were sleeping like a tired pig, so I had to take you to bed."
"I have something important to do, so you should leave," Abi told him seriously.
"Shouldn't I help you with that? It has to be top-notch," Leo gave excuses.
"What do you mean?" Abi asked him as she began to look for the smirk that would soon find its way to his lip.
"I have to help you record and edit the video. I'm actually good at that. You can do your thing while I attend to those areas," he spoke dryly and touched her long hair tenderly.
Abi found herself staring into his eyes without taking hers away. Leo tucked her hair behind her ear and took out a hairband from his pocket. He tied up her hair into a messy ponytail and smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" Abi asked him.
"Nothing," he replied. "You just look good, but you don't look so happy to see me after some weeks. I said I was sorry," he reminded her.
"It's fine," Abi smiled.
"So," Leo put his hands into his pocket as he silently gawked over her outfit.
"Does that mean we're good?"
"Oh yeah," Abi replied with a smile.
"Set the camera now. It has to be natural light though," Abi told him.
"Don't worry about that. It's studio light, and you don't have to use any filters," he retorted.
Abi was speechless, but she quickly hid her blush. Leo's gaze went to the little wristwatch on her wrist, and he smiled. That was the diamond watch he had bought for her. She was also wearing her wedding ring. She had told him that she tied it around her neck the last time. He was pleased that he came home after being away for many long days.
"You may start now," Abi told him when she realized she was ready with all her ingredients.
She was actually a bit nervous because of the way her husband was looking at her. It was a sincere look, as if he was proud of her or held some certain affection in his eyes for her.
Leo held up three fingers in mid-air and gazed at his little wife. His fingers began to fold as he counted softly, "Three. Two. One."
Abi got the cue and began to speak with a gentle smile.
"Welcome to Abigail's Cooking Chronicles @ Abi Marshall's Cooking. I'm your host, Abigail Marshall, and I'm thrilled to share with you our passion for cooking and good food. Today, I'm excited to announce that we've partnered with NicB Company to bring you even more delicious content!"
"This collaboration will enable us to push the boundaries of culinary creativity and explore new flavors. It's the most wonderful time of the year to cook a delicious turkey! Join me, Abi, on 'Savoring the Season' for a recipe that's sure to be a family tradition."
"The name of our turkey recipe is Turkey Tango Temptation. We're going to proceed with our main ingredients - one whole turkey, our olive oil, our butter. Please make sure to use melted butter. We're going to need a tasty white wine. It's fine to use any, but make sure it's super nice. It's not compulsory to use mine. We're going to be gushing out our garlic, thyme, dried sage, and salt with a little bit of pepper."
Leo was silent throughout her demonstration, recording her as he watched her closely. She was smiling as she cooked, looking very pretty, and he just kept gawking at her.
The recording was over in a few minutes. It looked like she was tired, but she hadn't signaled him to cut the video.
"Your turkey should look like that at the end," she spoke and added, "But if it doesn't, don't be disappointed because it will be better next time. But if, after taking that first bite, you realize it's not exactly the culinary masterpiece you envisioned, don't worry! Just feed it to the grumpiest person in your household and watch their scowl turn into a smile. Trust me! It's a foolproof plan! Thanks for listening, and happy cooking! Bye for now!!"
Leo finally cut the video after seeing her signal. He walked up to her and began to dab her sweat with his handkerchief. Abi was very surprised but didn't say anything.
"Are you tired?" he asked her warmly.
"No, I still have to edit," Abi replied.
"Leave that to me. Consider the video sent. Your phone is low, so I sent the video to my phone already," Leo retorted.
"Oh!" Abi smiled weakly. She didn't want him to mess up anything in the name of editing.
"Trust me, Abigail Grey," Leo spoke in a deep voice and began to play with her hair. Abi felt a knot in her stomach when she realized he was too close to her, and he might hear her thumping heart.
"You look good," he breathed seductively and cupped her face all of a sudden.
"Leo, I—" Abi was intimidated, looking at him when he interlocked their fingers together. She was so hot! Her nipples hardened immediately in her soft bra, while her pussy was so wet.
"I'm your husband, Abi," Leo reminded her with a small grin.
"I know," Abi replied.
"Why do you go about saying you're Abigail Marshall? You're married to me, so you're Abigail Grey, or do you hate me that much?" he asked, slowly leaning in.
"Wait! You didn't wear anything underneath?" Abi asked, wanting him to lose focus. He was wearing a light gray sweater.
"Why? You want to see my chest?" Leo teased, stroking her head fondly.
"That's not what I meant," Abi retorted, getting red.
Abi had to look away when he wouldn't. Her puppy ran into the kitchen, and Abi carried it into her arms. The pup barked at Leo while he glared at it in annoyance. His fingers were still interlocked with Abi's.
Leo stared at her pink lips while Abi's eyes were focused on her naughty little pup. The pup ran out of the kitchen after a while.
"I need to—" Leo's hand traveled to her small waist while Abi gasped. He was damn close to her now. She watched his hair fall to his face while his Adam's apple bobbed up and down. She was suddenly locked in his gaze while he bent his head to her level. Abi knew what was coming, and she really looked forward to it.
His lips were inches away from hers, but he didn't kiss her.
"Damn, Abi. You're beautiful," he breathed in a sexy tone. "Can I... kiss you?" He asked slowly and watched her reaction closely.
Abi just blinked, but he had already leaned in with his eyes burning with desire. His face was inches away from hers, and her pulse raced.
"Abi," he whispered, his warm breath caressing her skin. Her lips parted slightly, inviting him in. He claimed her pink lips with a fierce gentleness; their lips crashed together in a passionate explosion. His hands cradled her face while his thumbs traced her cheeks. His tongue got busy exploring every contour of her mouth.
Their bodies pressed together, the heat between them palpable. Time stood still as they savored every moment, every sensation. The kiss deepened, a sensual dance of lips and tongues. Leo's grip around her waist tightened, and Abi found herself blushing once again.
Her response was a soft moan, her lips seeking his again. The kiss reignited, a wild fire burning brighter with every passing second. Leo smiled when she broke the kiss. Abi could tell that he had been looking forward to having his lips on hers for a very long time.
She was shy all of a sudden. When she was aware that he was leaning in to kiss her again, she pushed him away and ran out of the kitchen while saying, "Please, send the video to Dominic. I'll see you later."
Leo watched her little feet take her further away from him. He laughed and stared at her retreating figure. His thumbs brushed his lips when he thought of the kiss again.
"My sweet woman," he muttered and took out his phone to start editing, as he had said.

Ava had cold feet immediately she saw a group of boys with Philip. He had asked to see her that evening, and she had come. She had refused to come initially because she was going to have a movie date night with Michael.
Sadly, he had called it off at the very last minute, so she decided to go and see Philip. She liked his vibes so much that she didn't find him boring at all. She was so damn nervous because they all looked good and talked.
"Hey!" Philip exclaimed. "I'm so glad you made it. You told me you were going out with your ugly boyfriend," he smiled.
Ava laughed and greeted the boys warmly. They greeted her too, and she became surprised that they weren't actually checking her out like most guys do after paying their eyes on her.
'So modest,' she thought.
"So, why did you call me here?" Ava asked and looked around the place. It was a mini park, and people went about minding their own business.
"Oh! I just wanted to take you out on a car date," he replied.
"Car date?" Ava scoffed. "You almost killed me the last time I got into your car."
"C'mon pretty. That was just a normal drive. I'm going to go car racing soon, so—"
"You race?" Ava questioned in surprise. Her eyes widened in amazement.
The boys began to whisper amongst themselves. Ava could tell they were expressing their surprise about her interest in racing.
"Y'all should know that I drive cars," Ava said proudly. "The most luxurious car I've been in is a Lambo, but I want to ride in a Ferrari," Ava smiled.
The boys looked at Philip while he cleared his throat. "So, would you ride with me?"
"Is it a Ferrari?" Ava's eyes widened in surprise again.
"I can arrange for it. Consider it done," he said nonchalantly.
'So, this is the definition of richness. Gawd, I want to be a rich bitch too!' Ava cried in her mind.
"So, when does the party start?" Ava asked curiously.
"Seven," Philip answered.
"When does it end?" she asked again.
"A little time after morning," one of the boys replied.
"Oh! I don't think I can make it to—"
"Don't worry. I'll drop you home myself when you're ready to leave," Philip declared.
"What if you're drunk?" she asked.
"I won't drink tonight because of you, then. I need to be sober when I'm with Miss Charming," he said, and Ava cast him a glare when the boys began to cough.
"I have a boyfriend, guys," Ava cleared her throat.
The boys just nodded. Ava knew they didn't believe her, so she spoke up again.
"I said I have a boyfriend. His name is Michael!!" she hissed and went to buy an ice cream from an ice cream vendor nearby when they wouldn't stop teasing her.
"Jerks!" she cursed them under her breath.

Abi managed to run away from Leo for two weeks. It was really that long! Whew! She was really avoiding him like a plague after the day he kissed her. She would plead for the ground to swallow her rather than look at him and blush while thinking of their kiss.
She knew she couldn't run away for long. He's always coming in late and going to work so early. Abi was really grateful for that. That means he would think she's so affected by the pregnancy and doesn't have to sleep enough. He would let her be and go around minding his business.
She was really lonely in the house because Leo hadn't lifted her punishment yet. Jessica couldn't come to visit her because she was not in the country. She had traveled out after the day they had the sleepover.
Riley was so busy with her dad's company. Her dad had already recognized her as an independent woman. Roman and Alice were already on good terms, but Alice was also busy. Ava was facing her exams, while Abi's mother stood her ground on not visiting her daughter.
"You're married! Learn how to be with your husband more!!" Whitney had yelled at Abi when she called her to complain of loneliness.
But she couldn't run anymore when the day came. She held their glasses of orange juice on a tray in her hand. There were some chocolate cookies in a small plastic plate on the same tray. She took a deep breath and looked at the door of her husband's room. Her heart was racing. She wanted to knock on the door but didn't. Her legs weren't moving at all. She was rooted to the ground, and her eyes began to appreciate the designs on her husband's beautiful door.
She was flabbergasted when the door was suddenly opened by him. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a light gray shirt. She knew he had just had his night bath. She had received a call from Dominic that night.
It was his call that woke her up from her sleep. He had called to tell her to console her husband because he had lost his childhood friend due to food poisoning.
Abi didn't know what Leo was up to, but she decided to check up on him. She hadn't lost anyone before, but she knew how he might be feeling at the moment.
Dominic had appreciated her work too while telling her the latest situation. From the way Dominic had told her of their closeness, Leo was really close to the person.
Abi could tell her husband was not in a good mood when she saw him. She would have turned around to leave if it were any other day, but she followed her heart and remained there.
"What do you need?" he asked her.
"Oh, nothing," Abi replied and asked if she could come in.
"Yeah," Leo opened his door wider and watched her come into his room with confidence.
"What are you doing?" Abi asked him. She needed to know if she was interrupting anything important.
"Nothing much," Leo replied dryly and sat further away from his wife on his bed. He didn't know what she was up to, but he was interested in looking forward to it.
"Are you…okay?" Abi asked softly and looked at him.
"Yeah. Why did you ask?" he gazed at her. She was still in her beautiful white gown. Leo knew she had just woken up, judging from the way she looked. She still looked pretty, even though she looked tired.

She still looked pretty, even though she looked tired. She had slept off throughout the day. She didn't even notice when he had gone into her room to check up on her and drop off her phone.
"I heard that you lost a childhood friend, so I thought… you'd need someone," Abi said.
Leo didn't say anything. He just bit his lip and took a deep breath.
"Was that Dominic's idea?" he queried.
"Oh no! I was the one who decided to come here," Abi quickly spoke up. She didn't want anything to happen to their friendship because of her.
"Was she really close to you?" Abi asked after a moment of silence.
"Her name was Leah," Leo replied. "Can you tell me more about her?" Abi asked him with determined anticipation.
"You want to know more?" Leo asked. Most girls would get jealous if their husband talked about other girls in their presence, but his wife wanted to know more!
"Yeah. If you don't want to tell me—"
"I'll tell you," Leo interrupted her and heaved a sigh. "Leah grew up with me. She was the one I had feelings for while growing up. She was the only one I opened my heart to love. We dated for three years and broke up because she was suddenly engaged out of the blue."
"So, you broke up with her?" Abi was actually jealous, but she kept her cool.
"No. She broke up with me. She was the first girl to ever break up with me," Leo laughed gently.
"Were you hurt?" Abi asked.
Leo nodded and continued, "She would have arrived with me yesterday, but I told her not to follow me home because I wanted to make up with you. We had a fight, and I didn't want you to think of something else when you see her, because we're still pretty close."
"She told me she would be here, but I didn't know what took so long. She was eating so much and posting about a lot of food from a small restaurant. She didn't know the food was poisoned, and she died," Leo sighed.
Abi didn't know when she left her seat and walked up to him to give him a hug. She was standing in front of him while he was sitting on the bed. He suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist while she patted his hair like a rabbit.
"I'm sorry," Abi spoke quietly.
"It's fine. She'd be fine," Leo muttered and hugged her tightly.
"Why were you avoiding me?" he suddenly spoke.
Abi froze when she realized she didn't think of that. Why would he ask her that question in the situation they were in?!
