Chapter 2

A portal opens and the in rag step through and with his captive. The man let go of his captive and move some steps away from him.

"Why don't you kill me already? What's this place? Did you bring me here to perish? You should have killed me when you have the chance". The captive says, making the man to chuckles.

"When I have the chance, huh? Don't kid yourself, little soldier, I can still finish you off any moment". The man threatens, then he stretches' out his hand, opening a little portal round the soldier's legs. "Piss me off, and I will cut those skinny legs of yours. So don't make this any dramatic, Cane has already done". He says, then rests his back on the tree. Both parties are quiet for a moment before the soldier finally talk.

"So, where are we anyway? Home is not very far from here, right? But why do I feel a difference in the atmosphere? How long are we in that endless yellow portal you opened?". He demands.

"Few seconds, and can you stop with all of this interview? Just shut the #$@!% up!". The man yells in frustration, then he facepalms himself, but the young soldier won't listen.

"And why would I do that? You just kidnapped me, for crying out loud. Oh, boy, this is crazy". The soldier growls and murmurs

"I teleported us to earth, not on purpose, and I used the last of my strength to do that. I'm in no condition to do that for now, even if I can, I am not opening a $#it to that $#it world I ran from. So, deal with it before you give yourself a hearth attack".

"NO! You can't do that". The soldier says.

"Well, I just did". The man finalizes.

EFFECTIVE COLLEGE

Students are gushing out of the school like a storm, colliding and bumping into one another. Some, though, gets piss while some just ignore everything because it is not the first time. Who cares? This is school, anyway.

"Wait up, Mark, don't you dare leave me behind". A dark, chubby guy yells at his friend, who is walking way ahead of him.

"Then you have to walk. I don't have all day, Luck". Mark shouts back, ignoring Luck's.

"WOO! That's not fair". Luck says, catching his breath for a second.

 "It's okay, I've got you"

"My @$$. Have you read the latest Night Howler comics? I'm enjoying every issue so far, the story keeps giving me banger after banger. But there's one issues I have with the writers so far". Luck complains.

 "What issue?"

"They have nerfed Night Howler like $#it. It's so annoying". Luck growls

"But you said you're enjoying everything so far".

"I did deny that, did I? Weakening a character is part of their growth. The story becomes boring if the character is OP. It's only a good writer that can do justice to such a character, and how many good writers do we have left?".

"How is it going with your own creative comic? You've not given me an update yet". Mark asks, changing the topic. Then he flags down a bike.

"Taking longer than was expecting. I just finished drawing 2 pages. Why do you care anyway? Last time I checked, you show no interest when I first mentioned it." Luck replies.

"At least I care now, huh? See ye". Mark waves at Luck as the bike takes off.
