In about 30 minutes, the school will be closed for the day. Mark had his earbud in, nodding to the melody of a song. He is captivated by the music until a duster is hurled at him, which he is able to evade before it strick him. Mark removes the earbud from his ear and gazes at who had done that.
"Hmm, I didn't know you were that swift to be able to dodge that even when you're not watching," the class troublemaker Tomiwa says, prompting Mark to roll his eyes in exasperation.
Unexpectedly, Tomiwa picks up another duster, aiming at Mark's face for the second time, which Mark is able to catch. Irritated, Tomiwa misses his shot again.
"I guess I underestimated your agility and reflexes; too bad you won't see this coming!"
Yet again, for the third time, he couldn't get the better of Mark, who is able to catch the third duster thrown at him. "You're getting on my nerves!" Tomiwa shouts in frustration, but then, without seeing it coming, Mark hits the troublemaker with one of the dusters.
Tomiwa coughs out the dust, and his face is covered in white, making his colleagues in the class mock him. "You will regret this!" Tomiwa snarls as he charges at Mark, pushing desks out of the way to have enough room to attack.
Mark easily block Tomiwa's punch, holding tight to his wrist as Tomiwa struggles to break free from Mark's grasp. Mark finally let go of Tomiwa's wrist, and the boy falls behind. Tomiwa growls, then aim at Mark again, but this time, he is given a punch on his nose, breaking it and causing it to bleed. This leaves the class in awe. Beaten and humiliated, Tomiwa runs out of the class in shame but swear to get back at Mark.
"OMG! That was intense and badass!" a female colleague exclaims, who had been recording the drama since. Mark ignores the gazes of his classmates as he reposition his desk and sit back down to resume listening to his music.
Luck, on the other hand, is agape, unable to believe what he had just witnessed.
An interdimensional portal open near the school poultry farm, and Commander Cane falls out of it into the dirt of the chicken enclosure.
"This is disgusting," he says with disgust as he tries to dust himself off, but the dirt stick to him.
Commander Cane looks around, getting annoyed by the noise the chickens are making. He jumps out of the chicken farm and began to walk towards the students. His appearance draw the attention of everybody, and the dirt on him is not helping the situation. Students are pointing fingers and poking fun at him, but he pay none of them any notice. He wants to keep a low profile until he gets his hands on the traitor.
"Don't mind them; that's just the way of life of a student," Mark tells Commander Cane. "Also, there's a tap at the corner where you can clean yourself," Mark adds before opening his backpack and handing the man a handkerchief. "And I hope you find what you're looking for," Mark finally say, then walk away as Commander Cane watches.
Malik had been busy ever since he starts working at the bakery shop. He is able to adapt and catch up on time. His interview with his boss in the morning almost went awry, but they are able to sweep the awkward interview under the rug when Malik's companion intervened.
"You're a quick learner, Malik," a coworker compliments him.
"Thanks, Joke," Malik responses back, and the girl bursts out into laughter, making Malik wonder what he did that is funny.
"Did I say or do something funny?" He inquires innocently.
"It's just that you pronounced my name wrong. You called me Joke instead of Ajoke" She corrects him and Malik shyly cover his face.
" Sorry, didn't mean to" Malik apologies
" Don't worry, you will know the correct pronunciation in time" Ajoke assurs him, winks then head to the kitchen.
