The Spartans

Back at the Motel, everything is going smoothly as Ms. Etty has planned. Despite the conducive atmosphere, Malik is not feeling well. While others are enjoying themselves, Malik finds himself sensing danger lurking around. He can feel something terrible wanting to happen. What can he do to get everyone out of here? Who will believe him anyway if he says something bad is coming? They will definitely think he's drunk. In the midst of the mental battle, Malik is approached again by the same man earlier.

"I hope you're enjoying the moment because I advise you to enjoy it while it lasts. This place will be in chaos in a few seconds now." The man whispers, sending chills down Malik's spine.

"What do you mean by CHAOS?" Malik stammerers. "By who?" He asks with a shaky voice. The man cackles inwardly before answering.

"By ME!" The man responds, then immediately grabs Malik's neck, choking him. The man uncovers his face, and Malik is shocked to see who it is.

"Commander Cane?!" Malik struggles to breathe and tries to get the man's hand off his neck.

"Surprised to see me again, young soldier? Tell me where he is, and I will spare you. Act stubborn, and I will kill you right now." Commander Cane threatens, holding Malik's neck even tighter. Commander Cane's drama has caused fear in everybody, and they make a run for their lives.

"Weaklings," He mocks the people trying to escape. Then he turns back to Malik. "You can tell me now, or..." He holds the boy's neck very tight again. "You can tell me when I break your neck." Commander Cane tries to squeeze the truth out of him.

"You will never find him," Malik manages to say.

"Oh, now I see you're a stubborn type. I know how to deal with your kind."

Commander puts on his sinister look and is ready to finish Malik, but out of nowhere, someone or something hits Commander Cane so hard, sending him flying into the wall, bringing the wall down with him.

"Who dares?" He growls, wiping the blood out of his mouth.

During the moment Malik is trying to catch his breath, Commander Cane seems to be dealing with someone else.

Another energy beam hits Cane again, knocking him to his knees. Before Commander Cane stands the Night Howler, ready to charge at any slight movement.

"Stay out of my way, or I will crush you like the bug you are." Commander Cane says, chattering his teeth.

"You are facing the Night Howler, comrade. And I'm no bug, dummy." Night Howler says, then both of them charge at one another.
