From the beginning, I just wish to say that I cannot stand this overplayed genre of a virginal Otaku as the MC. Why the Japanese thrive on this culture is really beyond me, as I seem to see it predominantly within their novels. Must be a racial/cultural thing. Story is about a student who finds out that he is the child of the anti-prophecy destined to help demonic kind resist the future war against heaven. The MC discovers that the school he attends host a number of supernatural beings. So far I’ve read there is vampires, succubus, Demons, angels, exorcist, and Demon hunters and that is up to where I have read at chapter 36. The MCs ability is to strengthen his partner through intimacy. So basically he has to help them grow through sex, cuddles kisses etc, but with him being an Otaku, the job becomes quite awkward and strained and he tends to push them away because he feels there is no love involved, which really makes a person want to slap him silly because he’s not thinking the big picture which is simply to grow strong and defend themselves as he is a huge target on him now since his true identity has now been released to the supernatural world. Most times I just want to put the book away because it was really nauseating, but I suppose it might appeal to those purists out there who feel that through true love, true strength will arrive. Mostly I read through to satisfy the reading challenge for today, whether I continue or not is another matter, but seriously this guy needs to grow fast and rapidly otherwise he’ll just become another notch in the enemies belt, just too weak and just too foolish to exist. TL;dr - it has potential, but the author is doing himself no favours but introducing such a weak willed and sad character into the novel. At best the character should’ve been a bit more stable, a bit more emotionally mature and a little bit more intelligent. It isn’t to say that the guy should be jumping into bed with every supernatural being he can find, but to show a bit of discretion and a bit of understanding and clarity in the reasons that these are done. Basically grow a set!!

Good book, with a natural profresson the the story. it's kind of slow burn, but it's totally worth it once you've read far ahead. I like the development of the MC as well.
