Minister Charlie Ryder.

" I really wished you were here" she continued and then dropped the picture back before she stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom to brush her teeth.

She removed her dress and got into her bathrobe and then started to brush her teeth.

She was still brushing her teeth when the door bell was heard.

"Someone's at the door Stacy" she shouted from her room.

"On it" Stacy replied as she walked to the door to see who it was.

"Can't believe the pizza was delivered so fast" Vivian said to herself as she rinsed her mouth a dropped her toothbrush.

She then put on the shower and was about removing her bathrobe when Stacy knocked on the bathroom door.

"Hey peaches. Someone's here to see you" Stacy informed.

"And I thought it was the delivery guy" she said as she opened the door and tied back her bathrobe.

"Who's that?" She asked.

"It's your Dad" Stacy said and Vivian frowned immediately.

"What's he doing here?" She asked herself and walked out of the room.

"I hope this one goes well" she hoped with a sigh and followed behind her.

As Vivian got to the sitting room she saw her Dad sitted on the couch there with his legs crossed.

Charlie was an agile and handsome man in the age of 59. He was someone Vivian wasn't really proud of or to call her Dad.

"What's that on the table?" She asked pointing at the little bag on the table. It was obviously from a bakery shop.

"It's your favorite muffins" he said with a smile. He really hoped that they would have a nice conversation like every father and daughter would.

"My favorite huh" she scoffs as she folded her arms.

"How can I help you Minister Charlie?" She asked with sarcasm in her tone.

"I'm...how do you...." He was still talking when she interrupted him.

"Obviously from the news, after the election you were all over the news and I couldn't help but watch what a lovely and wonderful father you've become"

Look, Vivian I'm really sorry.. just hear me out.." she shunned him by raising her palm.

"Make it snappy minister, I have a movie to watch" she said with a light yet sad chuckle.

"Well.. I'm" he cleared his throat as he dropped an invitation on the table.

Vivian looked at him before she picked it up and opened it.

"Well, it's my invitation card, I'm getting married" he said as he watched his daughter closely. He wanted to see her reaction. He was obviously a bad and terrible Dad, he didn't fulfill his duty as a parent and tried to look for a way to make things work between him and his daughter.

"Wow, I always told myself that you would come back to me and maybe you made a mistake back then... Guess I was wrong" she said as tears clouded her eyes.

"Did you ever love Camille, my mom" she asked . She was trying really hard to avoid the tears from falling down her eyes.

"Yes, I did. I loved her so dearly and I miss her. look I know I made a mistake but I'm really trying to make things right" he said honestly as he sat up from his cushion

"Well I don't think you love her like how you claim and this thing you are talking of, this whole trash about making things right.. it isn't happening Charlie. It's late Charlie, you are ten years late so I would prefer if you get out of my house this instant" she said angrily with tears already rolling down her eyes.

"Vivian please, let's talk this out. I want us to be a family again and It can't happen without you, pls" he pleaded with her.

"That means you won't getting married " she said and stood on her feet.

" I would prefer if you leave now Minister Charlie before I call the cops and report that a man came into my house and tried to manipulate me and that wouldn't look good for you Minister" she threatened as she walked towards the door and opened it.

"You wouldn't do that to your own father would you, peaches?" He stared at her with so much pain in his heart.

"Looks like you don't know me minister, I'm a bit crazy" she replied with a smirk and just then a black car drove towards her house and packed right next to Charlie's, this for her attention and she turned together with Charlie who was already at the door.

A fair skinned young and beautiful lady stepped out of the car with a smile. She was obviously smiling at the father and daughter.

"Hey peaches" she greeted and stretched her hand for a handshake.

"And you are?"

"I'm Freya, Charlie's fiance. It's nice to meet you"

"I don't think there's a need for a handshake Freya" she answered as she wiped her tears with her sleeve.

"It's alright dear, " she said and turned to Charlie.

"Hey" she greeted with a blush and this made Vivian scoff .

"Would you like if I come in?" She asked and Vivian shook her head.

"Charlie is already on his way out so I think you should join him" she said to them.

"Um.. are you perhaps mad?" The nice lady asked.

"Am I?" Vivian asked back as she walked in and picked the snacks and invitation card her father had brought.

"Since the both of you came to invite me for your wedding and get my concert" she said and walks towards the trashcan not too far from where they stood. She then dropped both the invitation card and snacks into the trash and turned to them smiling.

"This is my answer" she said and walked towards her house and shot the door right in front of them. She didn't even care to hear them out again.

The couple outside sadly walked to their car where the chauffeur opened the door and they both got in.
