"Hiro, what are you doing here?" I asked the man with a big question mark looming over his head. 


He quickly closed his mouth and then shifted his gaze from me to Mira. "Your...daughter?" 


My eyes widened suddenly. I quickly pulled Hiro to sit on a nearby chair. "N-No, it's not what you think—." 


"Damn it, Dalha! Don't you have any plans to tell Cace about this?" Hiro said, cutting me off. Wait, why does he seem so worried? And even if I have a child, why would I tell Cace about it? Do I need his permission? 


"Why should I tell him? She's not my child—." 


"He has all the rights to know, Dalha! The child is his niece—." 


"Will you please shut up for a second?! I am explaining here, okay!" I snapped at Hiro, silencing him. I took a deep breath before excusing myself to escort Mira to her room.
