"Are you sure it's okay to leave you here? I can just skip work, Dal." Cace's voice expressed concern as he adjusted his necktie. 


I approached him with a smile. I took over fixing his outfit. I also fixed his hair before quickly kissing him on the lips. "I'm fine. Besides, Eri is here." 


Cace gently touched my face before giving some instructions. Afterward, he finally left to go to the office. I accompanied him until the gate of our house. When his car moved further away, I went inside. I headed straight to the kitchen to clean up after Cace's meal and to have my breakfast as well; I didn't eat with him earlier as he woke up before me. 


It has been five months since we found out about the pregnancy. Until now, we couldn't believe that we would have a child. Despite all that we've been through, we haven't completely resolved our differences. Yet here we are not only reconciled, but also blessed with a child.
