I was busy fixing the bed when Cace suddenly arrived from his office. I immediately felt his embrace from behind. He even kissed my nape and my exposed shoulder. Smiling, I turned to face Cace. 


"How's your day?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck. 


"It was tiring," he replied, bringing his face closer to mine. "But my tiredness vanished because I'm with you now," he said before kissing me on the lips. I felt his hands caressing my baby bump. 


I couldn't help but smile at Cace's words. I felt like a teenager getting giddy because my crush noticed me. 


I gave a slight chuckle before gently pecking Cace's lips once more. After that, I slowly let go of our embrace to continue fixing our bed. 


"Did Erina call you? She hasn't called me since earlier. Didn't she leave for Batangas this morning?" Cace's question made me pause. He didn't know that Erina hadn't gone to Batangas.
