Chapter 21 - Anticipation and Fear
Petunia was very proud of her two little siblings. The two fourth-year students were invited to the Slug Club. She was happy for them. She hadn't been invited to the meetings since she didn't do anything extraordinary or appear to be talented or have any talents. But Petunia knew what went on there because Eloise and Gwen complained periodically about how boring the meetings were.
She had taken some of Severus' mother's most elegant dresses. They were made of silk and were very delicate. She chose a silver one and changed its color slightly to make it more blue. It had a high waist just below the breasts with a neckline below the collarbone. Its sleeves were short, slightly puffy, and with blacksmithing sewn underneath. The dress had tulle which gave a nice effect as she walked. It was one of the most beautiful dresses she had ever made.
As a precaution, she put all the repellent spells she knew and embroidered a cleansing rune on it. If her sister ever got married, Petunia hoped to be able to make the dress.
She made sure that Lily had shirt, vest, and skirt combinations so that she wouldn't repeat any during meetings, and Lily finally got good at styling her hair so that she would always be elegant.
For Severus, it was easier and faster since they were being frugal. Aster sent him a second-hand formal dress that belonged to some of his cousins and was a horrible shade of orange. The color was changed to a dark navy blue since Severus had a strong aversion to colors. She also modified two shirts to be more elegant and made two vests as well.
This is my last year of school. Next year I will be moving to Alexandria. I worry about Lily, but she will be fifteen soon and will be safe at school. Well, she may come to her senses when she gets older.
Pandora sent me a letter with a request for an order. She wanted a very elaborate dress. In the letter, she described what kind of dress she wanted: a dress with a bodice embroidered with purple butterflies. The dress would be lilac. The skirt would be made of tulle. She intended to wear it with a frame underneath. She said that the most she could pay would be five galleons. She already had the fabric and wanted it before graduation.

The food smelled good. They sat at the table and ate the food, accompanied by a lemonade soda. The beer was flowing because Lily was happy.
