Kazuo took a deep breath as he grasped the hem of his shirt. With a swift motion, he pulled it over his head.

Amélie's eyes widened. "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean?" he replied, twisting the shirt in his hands. "I'm using my shirt as a zipline."

"But what about the friction and all that stuff you said earlier?" Amélie pressed, glancing between him and the wire.

Kazuo moved to the edge of the roof and draped his shirt over the wire, testing its strength with a gentle tug. "We have no choice. Besides, the wire is in a 45 degree angle. Its a steady enough slope. If I hang on tight, I'll get across fast."

"Great, now I'm picturing you as a human kite."

"You got a better idea?"

"Just… be careful."

"Don't worry, I will."

Amélie bit her lip, crossing her arm tightly over her chest. "Well, I can't remove my shirt."

"Why not?" Kazuo asked, glancing back at her.

She rolled her eyes, gesturing at her chest. "Hello!"
