Beginning Training

"Alright, we know what we must do but what will you do?" Alucard asked

"I have to train. I haven't used my body in a month and I can feel myself getting weaker," Virgil replied finishing his food

"Alright then you can train with Christopher to learn our fighting style, he is a martial prodigy," Alexander replied

"Alright then I will be in your care," Virgil said standing up

"I will do my best not to disappoint," Christopher followed

Leaving the dining room Virgil followed behind Christopher as they made their way around the estate.

"Alright before we start training I need to know what kind of combat you are looking for. Do you want to fight with your hands or weapons and what kind of weapon?" Christopher asked

"I want to fight using weapons and I already have three in mind," Virgil replied

"Three? Most people start with one maybe two if they have some experience but learning to fight with three weapons is not recommended," Christopher said surprised at Virgil's answer

"I know but I chose the three weapons that will work best with my magic and allow me to increase its lethality," Virgil added

"I see alright what weapons are you thinking of using?"

"Chains, a set of daggers, and a long sword," Virgil listed

"Woah those weapons are completely different from each other and require years of training for each, and using them together is not an easy task. May I ask why those three?"

 Christopher added

"First the chain will be used to hold down enemies. I plan to use my magic to make chains that I can summon during a fight but if push comes to shove I will use them as weapons. Second I plan to have a set of six daggers each will be controlled with mana and coated with elemental magic allowing me to counter other magic, also it will allow distance attacks from multiple directions. Lastly, the long sword is a close-range weapon that will allow me to deal close-range damage in case I run out of mana during a fight," Virgil explained as they arrived at the training room

"I see. It seems you thought all of this out, then I will do everything in my power to help you," Christopher said with a determining look

"Thank you," Virgil replied

"Also how long do you plan to stay here I know that that team of yours won't just stop looking for you, and this pale girl with a purple robe seemed to lose hope at the fact we said you weren't here," Chris added

"Yes, I know...I will probably only be here for two weeks before I leave. I need to have basic mastery over these weapons before I think about the first hurdle," Virgil sighed

"Two weeks that's not a lot of time for me to work with but that means we will have to work twice as hard," Chris said a little shocked

With the game plan made by Chris, the two began body conditioning to warm up. They started with a five-mile run, 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and fifth pull-ups.

(I guess even with my stats cut in half I'm still able to handle this well) Virgil sighed wiping the sweat from his forehead

"Now we will start with your sword training. It will be the easiest and the one that will help you the most," Chris said walking over to the weapons rack

Grabbing two wooden swords he handed one to Virgil and stood a few meters from him.

"We will start with a light spar I would like to see how high your combat knowledge is," Chris explained

"Alright let's not waste any more time then," Virgil said clenching his sword

Taking a deep breath Virgil looked up at Chris but to his surprise, Chris had already closed the five-meter distance and his blade was a few inches from his neck.

Holding his blade up he barely blocked the attack as it grazed his hair.

"Never close your eyes in a fight even in a spar," Chris said launching a volley of attacks from each direction

Thanks to his stats still being higher than a normal person he was able to block some of the attacks but most of them made contact with his shoulder waist and thighs.

{It seems like the host looked down on this child. Even though he seems human he is the blood of Belmont in him. Gauging him his stats are probably at least 50 for his physical abilities} Sabastian said

(Yeah I kind of guessed," Virgil said jumping back to create some distance

But to his surprise, his back hit a wall and Chris only got closer.

"Make sure to watch your surroundings or you will lose your life," Chris said pointing his blade at Virgil's neck

"Alright, you did better than I thought. You were able to block fifteen out of the fourth hist that better than most. You seemed to underestimate me because I'm a regular human but don't forget even the smallest animal can kill a predator if it knows what it's doing," Chris said

"Yeah I won't be doing that away you are much stronger than I expected," Virgil sighed dropping his sword

"Alright you will start with 10,000 vertical sword slashes, then 1,000 thrusts, and then you will repeat our conditions before doing it again. After that, you will eat all the food provided by the chef which will help your body develop the fastest. Lastly, before you sleep you will study the Ten Fang technique of the Baskerville family," Chris pointed out handing Virgil a pitch-black book with an image of a dog with glowing red eyes

"The Baskerville family?" Virgil asked grabbing the book

"Yes in return for saving the only hire, we received this book as a gift. From what I can tell it will work the best for you," Chris added

"Well I guess I should have expected this" Virgil sighed
